10 Movies We’re Totally Excited To Watch This Summer

The summer movie season is fast approaching, and there are a lot of reasons to get excited, with one of the most action-packed movie lineups we’ve seen in some time.

Here are the 10 summer movies that we’re most excited about:

Wonder Woman (June 2)

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, she leaves home to fight a war to end all wars, discovering her full powers and true destiny.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 7)

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter Parker returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark, Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Transformers: The Last Knight (June 23)

In the absence of Optimus Prime, a war has commenced between the human race and the Transformers. To save their world, Cade Yeager forms an alliance with Bumblebee, an English lord named Sir Edmund Burton, and an Oxford professor named Viviane Wembly to learn the secrets of why the Transformers keep coming back to Earth.

The Mummy (June 9)

Though safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess, whose destiny was unjustly taken from her, is awakened in our current day bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia, and terrors that defy human comprehension.

Baby Driver (June 28)

A young and talented getaway driver named Baby relies on the personal beat of his preferred soundtrack to be the best in the world of crime. When he meets the girl of his dreams, he hopes to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a mysterious criminal, he must face the music when an ill-fated heist threatens his life, love and chance of freedom.

War for the Planet of the Apes (July 14)

Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the planet.

Atomic Blonde (July 28)

Agent Lorraine Broughton is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible missions. The undercover MI6 agent is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of double agents.

Logan Lucky (August 18)

The Logans are a hardscrabble family from the hills of West Virginia, and their clan has been famous for its bad luck for nearly 90 years. But the conniving Jimmy Logan decides its time to turn the family’s luck around, and with a little help from his friends, the Redneck Robbers, he plans to steal $14 million from the Charlotte Motor Speedway during a Memorial Day weekend race.

The Dark Tower (August 4)

Roland Deschain, the last Gunslinger, is locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, the Man in Black. The Gunslinger must prevent the Man in Black from toppling the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world. With the fate of worlds at stake, two men collide in the ultimate battle between good and evil.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D (August 25)

Terminator 2.. in 3D.. on the big screen. Need I say more?
