4 Of The Craziest Drinking Games Ever Invented

Girls Playing Beer Pong

Outside of those wild and crazy college years, drinking games tend to lose some of that appeal to older, more experienced and mature drinkers. In fact, many adults consider drinking games to even be a bit childish. The idea of drinking games, however, could not be further from the truth, as there’s plenty of crazy fun drinking games that can provide drunken entertainment for undergrads and post-grads alike.

So, without further ado, I give you a drinking game list filled with joyous drunken fun for you and your friends.

Thumper: Which Gesture Really Defines You?

If you happen to have a flare for theatre or if you just like physical drinking games, Thumper is a gesture-oriented game that will surely satisfy your needs. How it works is each player chooses their own a gesture that will represent them through the game, which can be as goofy and nonsensical as they please.

Players must perform their own gesture and the gesture of another player they wish to signal. The player that they signal must respond by performing their own gesture, then signal another player, and it continues on. If a player fails or falters to respond or repeat another a gesture, they have to chug away.

The Name Game: Know Your Celebrities

One of the great things about The Name Game is that it doesn’t require materials, messy cards and things that need to be cleaned. The game begins by someone saying the first and last name of any random famous person. The next person must think of another famous person whose first name begins with the same first letter of the previous celebrity’s last name. If someone gets stumped, they have to drink up.

It’s never great to abuse alcohol like many notorious celebrities, however, so be sure to check out alcohol treatment programs if you find yourself playing this game a little too often.

Edward 40-Hands: Drink The Beer And Drink It Fast

Edward 40-Hands is certainly one of the more straightforward drinking games. Procure several 40-ounce beers, whip out some duct tape, and finally, duct tape each and every hand in the room to a 40-ounce beer. The rules are simple: drink the beer and drink it fast. No one can remove the bottles until they are both empty, so that means everyone’s hands are literally tied up until they finish. Be sure to use the bathroom before play begins, or you’re going to have a bad time.

Wizard Staff: You Shall Not Pass Out!

You don’t have to be a Lord of the Rings fanatic to appreciate Wizard Staff, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to be one. Basically, everyone in the game starts off with one can of beer. Once you finish your can of beer, grab another beer, finish it, and duct tape it to the top of your first can.

The more beers your drink, the more you level up, and the more powerful your wizard staff can become. The person to reach the agreed-upon level wins the drinking game and becomes the White Wizard. The White Wizard has the ability to creates new rules in the game, which make it more difficult for others to reach his or her level. Once someone else becomes a White Wizard, however, the two will duel for rights as the ultimate wizard.

With great drinking games comes great responsibility, so be sure to monitor the amount of alcohol you consume and make smart choices. Drinking games are awesome way to have fun with friends; however, it’s also very important to practice safe methods of consuming alcohol.
