A 38,000 square-foot Bel Air mansion is breaking records as the most expensive home ever to be listed in the United States, hitting the market this week at an eye-popping $250 million!
On last night’s episode of CNBC’s Secret Lives of the Super Rich, Robert Frank gave us an exclusive tour of this mega-mansion, with its 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, three kitchens, six bars, two wine cellars, massage room and spa, fitness center, state-of-the-art 40-seat movie theater, and an 85-foot infinity pool with a swim-up bar and 270-degree hilltop views from downtown to the ocean.
Real estate developer Bruce Makowsky says he was inspired by yachts. “People pay $100 to $200 million for their yacht, but were content paying only $30 million for the home that they live in everyday. The real estate market wasn’t keeping up,” he explains. So Makowsky designed the home “on spec”, sparing no expense in creating the most excessive adult fantasy land, curating a lifestyle unique and exclusive to billionaires.
The fully furnished Bel-Air home also comes with a $30-million fleet of exotic cars and motorcycles parked in the foyer, including a one-of-a-kind Pagani Huayra that costs more than $2 million, the famous “Von Krieger” 1936 Mercedes 540 K Special Roadster (worth than $15 million), and 10 of the rarest, fastest motorcycles ever created, including an electric Lito Green Motion Sora. The staff of the home also get a brand new white Ferrari 488 and a bespoke yacht-themed Rolls Royce Dawn.
For those looking to have a little fun, there’s a four-lane bowling alley that is lined with gold pins, along with shoes in every size. There are also glass Teckell ping-pong, pool and foosball tables, along with a massive candy room that would make Willy Wonka proud. And we can’t forget the 40-seat 4K Dolby Atmos theater, the perfect venue to screen your favorite Hollywood blockbuster.
If that still isn’t enough, there is an original Bell 222A helicopter from the television series Airwolf parked on the roof that has been restored with orange Hermès and Louis Vuitton leather. But since the house doesn’t have a permit for landings and takeoffs, it’s strictly for show.
Sold turnkey, the estate also comes with an extensive collection of artwork. Highlights include an oversized metallic sculpture of a Leica camera by Chinese artist Liao Yibai, a vertical pinball machine made from Veuve Clicquot Champagne bottles, and framed Rock Royalty custom guitars. Makowsky will also pay for home’s seven full-time, live-in staff – including a chef, chauffeur and masseuse — for two years.
This is a truly remarkable house, and while I will never be able to afford the staggering quarter billion dollar price tag (even if I won the Powerball), it’s nice to dream..

Shaquille O’Neal Is Selling His Baller $28 Million Florida Mansion
NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal is selling his Florida mansion for a cool $28 million.. you know, just in case you have that kind of dough laying around. Located just outside of Orlando, the 31,000-square-foot home sits on a three-acre lot overlooking Lake Butler in the private golf community of Isleworth.
You didn’t expect Shaq to live in a regular home, did you? Of course not. No shack for Shaq! A man of his stature lives large. The man is an NBA legend, so of course, his house is legendary. What does the $28 million home of an NBA star get you?
Well, there’s a two-story great room with a marble fireplace and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass overlooking the water. A huge chef’s kitchen, and a wood-paneled formal dining room that will hold up to 16 guests for a start. It also has 12 bedrooms and 15 baths (11 of which are full baths). This place could house an entire NBA team basically.
A separate wing houses the master suite with a private balcony, four-room master closet, and his-and-her master baths with vanity sinks and jetted showers. Other features include a soundproof home theater (so you can watch Kazaam at full blast), a temperature-controlled cedar-planked humidor, a game room, wet bar, a 95-foot long swimming pool, and naturally a 6,000-square-foot indoor basketball court.
Did we forget to mention the 17-car garage and secondary garage with a dance studio, along with a recording studio where ‘NSYNC reportedly recorded their first demos? Yeah, you get those too. It’s not a shack. It’s a 28 million dollar Shaq!
Danial Natoli of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing, so hit him up if you want to put in an offer.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Is The Most Luxurious SUV You’ve Ever Seen
After years of anticipation, Rolls-Royce finally took the wraps off its ultra-luxury SUV today in London, revealing to the world the Rolls-Royce Cullinan in all of its glory.
Now as you might imagine, the notion of a Rolls-Royce SUV caused quite a stir among purists, who believed that the world’s leading super-luxury brand should stick with cars. But according to Rolls-Royce, their customers were asking for a car that would allow them to “go everywhere in luxury, effortlessly and without compromise, conquering the most challenging terrain to enjoy life’s most enriching experiences, wherever they may be.”
With the super-luxury lifestyle evolving, so did Rolls-Royce, leading to the development of a vehicle that offers uncompromised luxury wherever they dare to venture. Cullinan is that car.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan, named for a diamond that’s part of the British crown jewels, follows in the footsteps of the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus, offering up an ultra-luxe SUV that can satisfy the adventurous urges of their clients.
Under the hood, there’s a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that delivers 563 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque to an all-new, all-wheel drive, all-wheel steer system. This engine has been reworked to make the Cullinan comfortable even while it’s off-roading.
A “Magic Carpet Ride” air suspension system keeps things civilized in the cabin when you’re off the beaten path, because you wouldn’t want a passenger to spill their glass of champagne.
Naturally, being a Rolls-Royce, the interior is bespoke and fit for a king, with only the finest leathers and appointments. But perhaps the most interesting feature is the pair of jump seats that come out of the trunk, presumably so you can sit while falconing in the desert.
The 2019 Rolls-Royce Cullinan is expected to go on sale late this year, with a starting price of around $325,000. Of course, one you start adding bespoke features and customization options, that price could go north of half a million in a hurry.
What do you think of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan?
Benetti’s Oasis 135 Superyacht Is The Only Way To Sail The Seas
If you recently came into a small fortune and are looking to splurge on something cool, I have got just the thing for you. Feast your eyes on the Benetti Oasis 135′ yacht concept. Designed in collaboration with London-based RWD, this bespoke yacht demonstrates the innovative usage of spaces on board, with a wide open aft deck for an emphasis on exterior living, along with a unique deck with a 66-square-foot pool.
Other design ideas include an origami-like layout with side bulwarks and a rear platform that folds up to keep the cockpit watertight. It has a sundeck and open area on the deck below, as well as a social area in the foredeck, offering an “oasis” on every level. Hence the name.
This is a floating party barge. A mansion away from your real mansion.
Inside, a “day” area replaces the typical main saloon with comfy lounges near large windows and a wet bar with seats. That wet bar can even double as a dining suite. If that’s not enough, there’s also a dedicated yoga and wellness spa, with its own opening balcony.
Buyers can choose from two interior designs: One that looks more traditional and the other with a sportier feel for a younger clientele. Light-colored leather and rosewood accents are included regardless of which version you choose.
The owner’s suite (where all the magic happens) has a large bedroom with a private balcony and a full en-suite bathroom, while the lower deck has two VIP staterooms and two cabins with twin berths. The crew’s quarters are separate and forward, and house up to nine staff, because someone has to pilot this beast.. and keep that champagne glass filled.
As for speed, the Oasis should cruise at 14.5 knots, with a top speed of 15 knots. At 11 knots, the yacht should have a range of about 4,000 nautical miles. Oh, and the Oasis’s garage can house a 21-foot ender and two jet skis. Because bringing along some accessories is a must.
So what do you say, who’s ready to hit the open seas?
