Hotel Sidi Driss – Luke Skywalker’s Tatooine Home

If you want to spend the night in a real Star Wars set, you don’t have to fly all the way out to the desert planet of Tatooine. The setting used for Luke Skywalker’s home in Star Wars and Attack of the Clones is actually a real hotel carved into the cliffs of Matmata, Tunisia.

A night’s stay will cost you $10, but if these Trip Advisor reviews are any indication, even that low price might be a little high given the rough accommodations. Still, what Star Wars fan worth his salt wouldn’t jump at the chance to walk in Luke Skywalker’s shoes, if even for a single night?
