Kurt Angle Arrested for Being Drunk in a Car

TMZ is reporting that wrestling superstar Kurt Angle got arrested early this morning in North Dakota.

Law enforcement sources state that Grand Forks highway patrol found Angle sitting in his car in the median separating lanes. Angle told cops that he had hit an icy patch in the road. During the conversation, cops smelled alcohol on Angle’s breath, and administered a field sobriety test which he failed. He was then arrested.

Since cops didn’t actually see Angle driving, he was charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated — which basically means he was allegedly drunk behind the wheel but not actually driving.

This isn’t the first time that Angle has been accused of DUI – He was arrested for a similar incident back in 2008, but was later found not guilty because of lack of evidence. Hmm..
