Lasers have always been cool. Having the power to shoot a beam of light thousands of feet in the palm of your hand is a fascinating and joyous experience. Of course the more powerful the laser, the cooler it gets. Eventually lasers become so powerful they can burn things. And so we come to this video. This video demonstrates a laser made by the company Wicked Lasers, and it demonstrates what they call the “world’s most powerful handheld laser.” I think it is best to let the video demonstrate how cool this laser really is. Needless to say, we have already invented hundreds of evil genius weapons based on this thing.
If you think that is cool, this same company makes a rod that fits on the end of a laser and turns it into a lightsaber (geek-boner). They also make a super great flashlight, if that is more your thing.
