Atlantic City is one of the most popular bachelor party destinations on the East Coast. This isn’t just because they have a boardwalk full of casinos. It’s the restaurants, the nightlife, and of course… the strip clubs. Here are some local’s suggestions on where to eat, where to stay, where to go, and how to get there.
First off, you need a place to stay. Atlantic City hotels are perfect for any style bachelor party, with casinos, restaurants, and night clubs located inside. The Borgata, the largest hotel in New Jersey has a huge casino, comedy club, Mixxx and mur.mur nightclubs, and a 24/7 Fatburger for the late night munchies. Harrah’s is another highly rated hotel and casino, located in the Marina District, and home to a dome covered indoor tropical oasis called The Pool, where it’s 82 degrees and the water is always warm. At night, The Pool is transformed into The Pool After Dark with DJs, bikini clad servers, and VIP bottle service. Revel, one of the newest hotels in Atlantic City, features two nightclubs, 13 restaurants, two live entertainment venues and multiple swimming pools. Most notable is the large casino, landscaped rooftop deck, and the Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub, featuring beautiful burlesque & go-go dancers. Tropicana is a good choice if you like having everything you need all in one place. This resort hotel has over 20 restaurants and 13 venues, such as Carmines, Anthem, Planet Rose Karaoke Bar and even an IMAX theatre! Trump Taj Mahal is another great option, especially if the groom is a poker fan. Their casino has the largest poker room in Atlantic City, second only to the Borgata. If you stay at the Taj, you can also check out the Mark G. Etess Arena, which hosts sporting events and entertainers and of course, Scores, the first strip club to open in a casino. If you’re on a tight budget or just want a bit more freedom, there are a lot of home rental options in Atlantic City as well. Using sites like vrbo.com, vacationhomerentals.com and vacationrentals.com, you can rent a house for the weekend in the city or nearby.
Step two is transportation and it’s necessary when planning a bachelor party. Catching multiple cabs at the same time will be difficult, so here are some great local companies with some luxury transportation options. AC Party Buses has a fleet of limos and buses ranging from a 13-passenger SUV stretch limo to a roomy 21-passenger shuttle bus. A very popular option is their 18-passenger party bus with high def TV’s, leather seating, mood lighting, coolers stocked with ice, and a high quality audio system. Another great option is Atlantic Limousine Service, which has excellent customer reviews. Their fleet includes 14–18 passenger party buses. Platinum Coach Limousine may have the ultimate amount of variety and can also handle parties up to 54 people. They have many options, from a huge 54-seat bus, to a Hummer H2 limousine. It’s important to realize that this company works in many East Coast cities, so their fleet can be booked well in advance. Calling ahead of time is definitely encouraged.
Once you’ve secured your hotel and transportation, make sure to grab a bite to eat before hitting the clubs. Whether you’re on a budget or going all out, you can find a cuisine to suit your tastes in Atlantic City. If you’re looking for a swanky steakhouse and are willing to spend some serious money, check out American Cut or Robert’s Steakhouse. Both feature 21-day wet aged and 28-day dry aged cuts of beef, with prices of about $40-$50 per steak. American Cut was opened by Iron Chef Marc Forgione and is well known for its art deco design. Robert’s Steakhouse is located in the Trump Taj Mahal and offers a private dining room for up to 25 people. Azure, located in Revel, is another great choice for upscale fine dining with a focus on seafood with seasonal local ingredients. If the groom loves Asian cuisine, check out Buddakan. Upon walking in, you pass through an Asian Garden with 25 foot tall trees that lead you into the main dining area, were you can enjoy 5 Spice Duck Breast or Wasabi Crusted Filet Mignon. If you’re looking for Italian food, check out Carmines at the Tropicana. They offer private dining rooms with specially designed 4 course family style menus for large groups which also makes them very affordable. For the bachelor party on a budget, there are two delicious and highly rated Mexican restaurants to visit, Dos Caminos and Distrito Cantina. Dos Caminos is located in Harrah’s and features an expansive tequila menu, which is a perfect complement to the asada tacos and Mexico City style quesadillas. Distrito Cantina is a Mexican take-out window set up like a food truck. It’s the best in Mexican street food, right in Atlantic City, featuring pollo tacos, pescado tacos, carnitos tacos and even a margarita bar!
Now on to the fun and very necessary question, What strip clubs should you go to in Atlantic City? Now since New Jersey has a law that will not allow nudity when alcohol is sold on the premises, we’re breaking our club selection into two separate groups – BYOB with naked dancing, and strip clubs with full bars and bikini dancers.
The choice BYOB clubs begin with a Pacific Avenue long time staple, Bare Exposure. It’s one of the most popular party clubs, and they have famous bachelor hot seats. In case you’re not aware, that’s where they take the bachelor up on stage and humiliate him for two songs in front of the entire club while his friends cheer on the dancers. Located on Pacific Avenue and right across from Trump Casino, a party bus may not even be necessary, as it’s a very short walk from many casinos. Allure is another popular BYOB nude club that has a large parking lot that caters to party buses or limousines. Whether you bring in your own bottle of champagne or 9 cases of Heineken on a hand truck, Allure takes care of your table setup. This club has higher prices than other clubs, but aims at giving bachelor parties more of a catered experience by providing good service and attention to details. Our final BYOB suggestion would be AC Dolls, a smaller club known for its friendly staff and dancers. This club is also located right off the boardwalk and could be walked to easily if staying or gambling at a nearby casino. Like Bare Exposure, there is no parking lot and your party bus or limo may need to drop you off and come back later.
Don’t care about the nudity and don’t want to stop for beer or liquor? There are also bikini bars that serve beer, liquor drinks, and liquor bottle service and yes, you can still get lap dances. The NYC strip club chain Scores opened their newest location in Atlantic City, and it’s the first club to ever be located inside a casino. Located inside the Taj Mahal casino, this 36,000 square foot complex features every amenity under the sun. Reservations are easily made and encouraged. Another newer addition to Pacific Avenue is a famous Philly chain, Delilah’s. Located down the street form Bare Exposure, bachelor parties could easily go from one club to the other because they are only one block apart. The Crazy Horse Cabaret is also a valid option if looking for a bikini bar with a full bar setup. Located in Pleasantville, just barely outside the city, the club is only a 10 minute drive from most major casinos. Famous among locals, Crazy Horse also has a reputation for a good party club with great open bar party packages.
From locals who know their stuff, we hope this information will help you to navigate and customize the very best possible bachelor party experiences Atlantic City has to offer.
Win Big From The Comfort Of Your Couch With BorgataCasino.com
One of the great things about living in South Jersey is that I’m only 45 minutes from Atlantic City. Back in the day, my buddies and I would hit the casinos every few weeks, and we had an absolute blast. Especially when the upscale Borgata came to town and elevated the whole experience, with numerous gaming offerings, world renowned chefs, luxury hotel rooms, nightlife options, two spas and more!
These days, I rarely make it down there. Why? Because when you factor in traffic, tolls, parking, and all of the headaches that come along with that, it’s kind of a buzzkill.. Thankfully, I can still get my gambling fix thanks to BorgataCasino.com, which lets me play my favorite table games and slot machines, all from the comfort of my living room couch.
Choose from dozens of your favorite games, including their Progressive Slots, where you can win big! Or try your luck at their other fun-filled table games, like roulette, blackjack and more. As long as you’re 21 or older and are within the state of New Jersey, you can get the full casino experience at home!
I was excited to find a number of my favorite slot games available to play on BorgataCasino.com, including Wheel of Fortune, Triple Diamond, and Pirate’s Booty, games that have paid out handsomely for me in the past. The at-home experience was exactly the same, right down to the sound effects. And just like in the casino, you can earn great rewards for your play with Comp Dollars and iRewards.
So what do you say, are you ready to sign up for BorgataCasino.com and try it out for yourself? Well today’s your lucky day, because for a limited time, you can use the promo code TRYBORGATA to get $20 in free play, and that’s on top of the $20 you get when you sign up.
That’s right, that’s $40 in free play!, just for signing up at BorgataCasino.com. This is an exclusive bonus, valid for new members only, so be sure to take advantage of this promotion before it expires!
Review: Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill At Caesars Atlantic City
A few months back, we told you about the opening of Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, and we couldn’t wait to make another trip to Atlantic City so that we could try out some of Gordon Ramsay’s famous dishes for ourselves. That day finally came last weekend, and it was definitely worth the wait!
As you would expect given the name of the restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill features items consistent with British pub fare. You’ll find classic British favorites such as bangers and mash and Yorkshire rib roast, as well as some of Ramsay’s favorites like beef wellington and wood-grilled lobster tail prepared on an oak-fired grill. Paying homage to a true English pub, Chef Ramsay made sure a steak & ale pie, sticky toffee pudding and of course, the ale-battered fish & chips were included on his menu.
We started off with an order of Molasses and Brown Ale Glazed Wings, which is served with jalapenos and crumbled stilton blue cheese. There were countless people on Yelp raving about how good these wings were, so I had to see what all the fuss was about. Honestly, these were some of the best wings I’ve ever had, with amazing flavor and just a touch of heat from the jalapenos. They’re incredibly messy, but oh so worth it.
In an attempt to add something healthy to the meal, we got salads next. I got the GR Wedge, while my wife got the Pub Caesar. Despite their elaborate presentations, they were pretty standard salads, and nothing to write home about. Next time I’ll probably skip the salad so I have more room for something else.
Next up was the main course. As a long-time Hell’s Kitchen fan, I had no choice but to get Gordon Ramsay’s signature Beef Wellington. For those who have never experienced a beef wellington before, it’s a filet mignon wrapped in phyllo dough with wild mushroom ductile, prosciutto and port wine sauce. It’s rare that you find a restaurant serving beef wellington anymore, so whenever I get the chance, I always order it. This one was second to none, and given how many I saw being served that night, it looks to be their most popular dish.
My wife couldn’t decide between a few of the Classic Ramsay dishes, ultimately going with the Pan Roasted Sea Bass at the behest of our waitress. WOW! This might have been the best sea bass I’ve ever had, served on a bed of butternut squash risotto with maple-sage brown butter. She liked it so much that she is already planning on coming back for her birthday, just so she can get this dish!
For a side, we ordered the Lobster Mac N’ Cheese, which was unbelievably rich and decadent. Sweet Maine lobster, English cheddar, and herb crumbs make this the most amazing mac & cheese you’ll ever bite into. At $23, it’s by far the priciest side on the menu, but they give you a HUGE portion, so if you have a party of 4-5 you can easily share this.
When our waitress came over to take our dessert order, I was FULL. But given how much I’d heard about the Sticky Toffee Pudding (which is apparently Gordon Ramsay’s mother’s recipe), I had to push through the pain and give it a shot. My wife ordered the Warm Chocolate Sponge, which comes with a side of Rocky Road ice cream. Both desserts were really good, you can’t go wrong either way. It was a great way to end the meal.
All in all, we had an amazing experience at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill Atlantic City, and I highly recommend making a reservation here so that you can experience his food for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill Now Open At Caesars Atlantic City
Last September, we told you that Gordon Ramsay was planning to open a new restaurant at Caesars Atlantic City. Sure, the timing might have seemed questionable to some, given all the turmoil that Atlantic City has faced over the past year. But I wasn’t complaining, as I’m a HUGE fan of his cooking.
And now after months of waiting, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill officially opened their doors today at Caesars Atlantic City. The 250-seat restaurant offers guests an authentic English pub experience on the East Coast, following the enormous success of his Pub & Grill at Caesars Las Vegas. Reservations, which are highly recommended, can be made online at opentable.com or by calling the Pub directly at (609) 343-2600.
“We’re really excited about the opening after such a great success in Vegas. We have an amazing team and partnership with Caesars,” said Gordon Ramsay, and we’re looking forward to bringing it to the East Coast.
Veteran gourmet chef and long-time Atlantic City culinarian George Galati will oversee all kitchen operations for the outlet. Best known for his co-starring role alongside Chef Robert Irvine in Dinner: Impossible on the Food Network, Galati adds nearly 30 years of gourmet experience to an already well-equipped culinary staff.
Hell’s Kitchen Season 13 winner, Chef La Tasha McCutchen has been tapped as head restaurant chef, under Chef George. A fan-favorite throughout Season 13, LaTasha showed signs of her skill and culinary talents very early on, winning Chef Ramsay’s praise at crucial times. “I feel like I opened the doors to my future. I trusted in myself, I believed in myself and I know now that I have what it takes to be a true leader in this industry,” said McCutchen on winning the competition.
The menu at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars features items consistent with British pub fare. Classic British favorites such as, bangers and mash and yorkshire rib roast, as well as some of Ramsay’s favorites like the beef wellington and wood-grilled lobster tail prepared on an oak-fired grill, will all be part of a rustic menu that will change seasonally. Paying homage to a true English pub, Chef Ramsay made sure a steak & ale pie, sticky toffee pudding and of course, the ale-battered fish & chips were included on his menu in Atlantic City.
The restaurant will have more than 26 beers served up on tap, featuring well-known and craft brewers such as Wells & Young’s, Magners Original, Fuller’s, and local brewers such as Cape May Brewing Co. An additional 22 bottled beers from around the world and around the greater Atlantic City region will always be stocked, as well as 16 widget cans and other can beer options. A unique selection of beers on tap will be made available for take home in custom 64-ounce growlers.
“With the announcement of Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars, Atlantic City continues to elevate itself as a culinary destination, one that features big television personalities, celebrity chefs, and now a Michelin-rated chef,” said Kevin Ortzman, President of Caesars and Bally’s Atlantic City. “Chef Ramsay is one of the world’s most highly-regarded chefs as evidenced by his multiple culinary accolades and we are honored to partner with him at Caesars,” continued Mr. Ortzman.
Needless to say, I’m really excited to check it out the next time I’m in AC. It’s damn near impossible to find a restaurant that still serves beef wellington, so you know that’s what I’ll be ordering. If you make it down there before I do, make sure you come back and let us know what you thought of it!
