Porsche 911 Targa 4 Gets TECHART Tweaks

If you were at the 2014 Essen Motor Show, it was hard to miss the retina-busting yellow TECHART Porsche 911 Targa 4 on display at their booth. The famed Porsche tuner has modified 911 Targas in the past, but this was their first go with the 991-generation car.

There’s a slew of detailed info in the TECHART press release, but I’ve highlighted the important things here.

As we’ve come to expect from TECHART, the exterior changes made to the new Porsche 911 Targa 4 aren’t purely cosmetic, as they also serve a significant aerodynamic role. The TECHART Aerodynamic Kit consists of a Front Spoiler I with front splitter in carbon fiber, Aero Wings, Air Vent in carbon fiber at front apron, Side mirrors (sport design) in carbon fiber, Headlamp Trims, Side Skirts, Rear Spoiler II, and Rear Diffuser add-on in carbon fiber.

On the inside, there are numerous upgrades available to take your interior to the next level, including carbon interior styling packages (dashboard, door trims, sports seat + back rest and trims) in graphite grey matte finish, a 3-spoke Sport Steering Wheel in leather black with decorative stitching and straight-ahead marker in grey, Paddle Shifters in black matte finish with symbols in green, Instrument Dials in green, Aluminum Sport Pedals, Aluminum Foot Rest, illuminated Aluminum Door Entry Guards, black Floor Mats with leather piping in carbon black and decorative stitching in silver, Comfort Kit Hood I in Alcantara, and sun visors in leather.

Naturally, you can’t forget about wheels and suspension. The TECHART Formula IV light-alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke design in 21″, high gloss black with outer rim in green look amazing, and the TECHART Sport Spring Kit ensures that your car has the perfect stance. Green brake calipers with black TECHART lettering add that final touch to bring it all together.
