The buttermilk pancakes are spotted with chunks of Mo’s Bacon Bar, that combines applewood smoked bacon and Alder sea salt with deep milk chocolate. In a word – Yum! It’s like having breakfast and dessert all rolled into one. 🙂
Preparing these pancakes takes a bit more work than a traditional pancake mix, but trust me when I tell you it’s worth the extra effort. Before getting started, you’ll need 2 eggs, 3 cups of buttermilk, and 2 oz of unsalted butter. Follow the enclosed directions, and you’re on your way to breakfast nirvana.
At the end of the day, I was really impressed with Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancakes Mix. It brought together three of my favorite things in one great tasting dish. Some have said that the bacon is overwhelmed by all the other flavors in the pancakes, but I didn’t feel that way at all.
And of course, if you want more of that bacon flavor, just grease the griddle with bacon fat instead of butter and you’ll be good to go! 😀
