Should You Modify Your Tundra?

Generally speaking, you can get Toyota Tundra incentives on stock vehicles that have not been modified at all. You may be able to make small changes if you are ordering the vehicle from a dealer – such as picking leather seats instead of cloth seats – but you cannot make any big variations. After you get the new truck, though, there are some changes that you might want to make.

First of all, if you are going to use the truck for work-related activities, there are some aftermarket accessories that can help. If you need to plow snow in the winter, attaching a plow to the front is not difficult. You can take it off and put it on every year, so you do not have to drive around with it on the Tundra all year long. You may also want to consider adding a winch, which can help you get out of the snow if you get stuck, or which can help you pull someone else out if needed.

Another modification that can be made is adding a lift kit. This raises your truck a few more inches off the ground than a stock vehicle. This is often done for trucks that are being taken off road and driven down trails and such. If you’re going to use your truck for hunting or camping, a lift kit gives you extra ground clearance so that you can get over rough areas on the way in.
