Did you know the New York International Auto Show was North America’s first auto show? According to Chris Sams of the NYIAS media relations team, the show opened back in 1900, and the show’s been growing ever since. Sams says the New York show is considered the most attended auto show in the United States, with more than 1 million visitors per year!
To bring a show of this capacity to fruition takes months of planning and hundreds of workers: at least 1,800 employees working at once during the peak of the show, in fact.
