I don’t go anywhere without my iPad, it’s completely changed my life. But if I had one big gripe with it, it’d be the iPad’s virtual keyboard. Sure, it gets the job done for small tasks, but it just doesn’t cut it for “real work”. Many companies have come out with various keyboard options, but all come with their own limitations.

Until now. The guys at CruxCase have just launched a new project on Kickstarter, the CruxENCORE.

The CruxENCORE’s design features both aluminum and polycarbonate which allows the product to be super light while featuring a beautiful anodized aluminum finish. Typing on the CruxENCORE feels just like typing on MacBook! It features a 360 degree hinge while allows the user to position it in 4 distinct positions.

Watch Crux founder Brian Probst talk about the CruxENCORE:

As you can see, this is a pretty sweet product, and they’ve got the experience to pull off such an endeavor. If you’re interested in funding this project, head over to Kickstarter and make your pledge!
