Watch The Trailer For Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Ex Machina’

There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding Ex Machina, and after you’re done watching this trailer, you will see why. This stylish and cerebral thriller follows Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson), a 26-year old programmer at an internet-search giant who wins a competition to spend a week at the private mountain estate of the company’s brilliant and reclusive CEO, Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac).

But upon his arrival, Caleb learns that he was chosen to participate in a strange and fascinating experiment in which he must interact with the world’s first true artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a beautiful robot girl named Ava (Alicia Vikander), whose emotional intelligence proves more sophisticated––and more deceptive––than the two men could have imagined.

Ex Machina will premiere at the SXSW Festival on March 14th, and will hit theaters on April 10th.
