What Are We Drinking This Weekend?

The weekend is nearly upon us, which beckons the question.. What will you be drinking?

There’s a bottle of Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum with my name on it, so I’m going to try out the following concoctions:

Captain Morgan Black Vanilla Cola
1 oz. Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum
½ oz. Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka
1½ oz. sour mix
4 oz. cola
1 lemon wedge

Combine Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum, Smirnoff Vanilla and sour mix in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice and top with cola. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Captain Morgan Black And Muddy
1 oz. Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum
½ oz. raspberry liqueur
4 oz. heavy cream
1 packet of raw sugar
1 raspberry
1 lemon twist

Add sugar to heavy cream and stir until sugar is dissolved. Combine sweetened cream, Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum, and raspberry liqueur in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a raspberry and a lemon twist.
