What I’m Listening To – 01/29/13

I’m back with a couple of tracks to help kick off the week. You may have heard them before, as they’ve been making the rounds for a few months now.. But they’re new to me, so I figured I’d share them with you guys. Give ’em a listen and let me know what you think!

The Script ft. will.i.am – Hall of Fame

I never heard of The Script before. But when I heard this song playing on XM last week, I was instantly hooked. I love the collaboration with will.i.am, it really works, making for an infectious tune that you can’t get out of your head. The video has almost 51 million views on YouTube, and is currently ranked #35 on the YouTube 100.

Kendrick Lamar – Swimming Pools (Drank)

Kendrick Lamar was the musical guest on SNL last week, and I was in the audience! His performance of Swimming Pools (Drank) was phenominal, he’s one of the few artists that actually sounds better live than on his album.. His cameo in the YOLO skit was also funny.
