Edge Of Space - MiGFlug

Growing up, I had dreams of becoming an astronaut and flying into space. Turns out, it’s not quite that easy, and instead I ended up here at Guys Gab working as a keyboard jockey. But I might finally get to realize my dream and make my way to the edge of space in a MiG-29 Fulcrum, thanks to MiGFlug & Adventure.

For around $19,000, the MiGFlug Edge of Space flight will take you up to the edge of space in a MiG-29 Fulcrum. Depending on weather and temperature, you can reach up to 20-22km altitude (17km guaranteed). Only astronauts and cosmonauts aboard the ISS will fly higher at this point. You can clearly see the curvature of the Earth. The atmosphere looks like a blue fog, covering the Earth far below. Over you the sky turn very dark, sprinkled with countless stars. It’s an incredible view that only a few people have enjoyed so far!

The Edge of Space flight program includes these maneuvers:

  • Breaking the Sound Barrier and fly at supersonic speed
  • Climb to the max altitude at nearly Mach 2
  • Rolls
  • Immelman
  • Loopings
  • Split-S
  • Accelerated vertical climbing
  • Vertical dive
  • Curves
  • Tail-Slide
  • High speed low level flying over the runway – your spectators will be very impressed!

How awesome does that sound?! While it’s definitely not cheap, if space travel is on your bucket list, here’s your chance to cross it off.. for a lot less than you probably expected to spend.
