2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR Sprint Cup Car

Published

on

This past week, the 2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR Sprint Cup car was unveiled as part of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Media Tour. In an effort to bring brand identity back to the sport, the car was worked on extensively by Ford designers, and features a completely redesigned sleek new silhouette and fresh face.

This marks the third time Ford simultaneously launched production and NASCAR versions of a new model, and the New Fusion race car will debut at Daytona 500 in February 2013. If the Fusion design is good enough for the track where speed and fuel economy matter (the less pit stops, the better chances to win), customers with street cars will save money and fuel too!

Looks pretty aggressive, but I still wouldn’t buy one.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t sold on the Fusion from the photos alone either. But when I saw it in person at the auto show, my opinions changed.
