The FIA World Rally Championship is one of the toughest challenges in motorsport, and as the reigning WRC champion with its Volkswagen Polo R WRC (driven by Sébastien Ogier), Volkswagen now has the task to defend their title.
Volkswagen is inviting fans all over the world to join them and celebrate the WRC on RallyTheWorld.com, a website they created featuring webisodes that give you insight into the rally life from drivers, fans and the rally events.
They’ll be reporting up close and personal from, next to, in front of, behind, above and – if necessary – under the route for you from the adventure that is the rally and the WRC. They’ll even take you beyond the service park and racetrack to experience the best drivers in the world (like Sébastien Ogier, Jari-Matti Latvala and Andreas Mikkelsen), the craziest fans, snow, asphalt, boulders, the toughest weather conditions and the roaring sound of the engines.
You’ll get previews of the upcoming rally, stories around great guys, the hottest fan spots, and of course very interesting stuff around the VW Rally Team.
You’ll feel like your right in the center of the WRC! Share in the excitement and keep abreast of all activities of Volkswagen in the WRC. For each Rally of the 2014 calendar, four webisodes including race action, fun stories and behind the scenes material will be published.
