The $400 Million Streets of Monaco Super Yacht Is A Floating City

Over the past few years, we’ve heard rumors about Streets of Monaco, a super yacht like you’ve never seen before. The ship is actually modeled after the European principality that’s a playground for billionaires. On the top deck will be replicas of famous Monaco landmarks like the Monte Carlo Casino, Hotel de Paris, Cafe de Paris, La Rascasse, and Loews Hotel, as well as a fully functional go-kart circuit based on the Monaco Grand Prix race track.

For the super-rich, the 500-foot yacht would combine the delights of Monaco with unparalleled access to the ports of the world, as well as bragging rights for owning the world’s most expensive personal yacht. Maybe? While the Streets of Monaco originally had an unbelievable $1.1 billion price tag, we’re now hearing that the price should be closer to $400 million.

Other extravagant amenities include multiple swimming pools, a swim-in Jacuzzi bar, a multi-purpose court for tennis and basketball, a ‘dance hall’, a spa with a hair salon, and enough space to accommodate 16 of your closest friends, along with a staff of 70. And don’t forget the all-important submarine and helipad!

Unfortunately, it’s not clear whether or not this concept will ever make it into the water. “This is just a concept at this point,” said Scott Poxon, director of Yacht Island Design, the firm behind the project. “That said, there is a notable amount of detail in place. It would need a commission in order to finalize design requirements of the client and to commence the construction.”

We’ll just have to wait and see if some ultra-rich billionaire steps up and commissions this crazy floating city. Maybe Dan Bilzerian should make this his new bachelor pad and float all around the world on it!

This could also make a sweet home base for Guys Gab, but we might need to launch a Kickstarter campaign since we’re a little short on funds. Who’s in?
