The Roots Join Forces With Captain Morgan

The Roots have joined forces with Captain Morgan to lend their unique hip-hop swagger and harmonious vibe to a remix of the spiced rum’s newest musical anthem: To Life, Love & Loot.

After hearing the original score (created for a recent Captain Morgan commercial), Questlove and his crew headed into the recording studio, adding a soulful, rock and roll take to the track with lyrics that truly embody the adventurous spirit of the Captain himself. The song features rapper Black Thought in rock star mode over a guitar-driven production.
