American Airlines Spring Lounge Menu Refresh

If you’re a frequent flyer who spends any time in airport lounges, you’ll want to pay attention, as American Airlines just rolled out a significant refresh across its premium lounge network, and the new spring menus are a serious step up.

What’s New At Flagship Lounges

American’s Flagship Lounges, reserved for premium cabin and elite-tier travelers, are getting some of the most ambitious new dishes in the update. The airline is leaning into bold, globally inspired flavors this season. Depending on which hub you’re passing through, you might find braised short rib with roasted thyme tomato sauce in Los Angeles, chilled carrot and coconut soup in Chicago, or tamagoyaki French toast with ginger maple syrup at Dallas-Fort Worth.

Other standout additions at Flagship locations include green lentil curry also at DFW, beef kofta and saffron rice with mini pita in Philadelphia, and rundown shrimp with coconut milk curry in Miami. The full-service dining format also continues to feature house-made salad dressings and charcuterie spreads, giving travelers the flexibility to graze or sit down for a proper meal before their flight.

Admirals Club Gets A Solid Menu Boost Too

Travelers with Admirals Club access (whether through credit cards, memberships, or elite status) aren’t being left out either. The updated Admirals Club menus bring a solid rotation of comfort-forward dishes to locations across the country.

Highlights include Cantonese sweet and sour meatballs at Denver and Phoenix, parmesan pesto gnocchi at Chicago, St. Louis, and Toronto, and Mediterranean feta chickpea salad across Austin, Nashville, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston. Boston flyers get New England clam chowder, while Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, and Washington DCA locations are serving a chicken Baja enchilada soup.

Champagne Bollinger Now Part Of Lounge Experience

Beyond the food, the airline is also upgrading what’s in your glass. American partnered with Champagne Bollinger earlier in 2025 to bring a consistent premium beverage experience both on the ground and in the air.

Champagne Bollinger is now served complimentary in Flagship Lounges and is available for purchase inside Admirals Club locations.

Why This Matters For Frequent Flyers

American Airlines has been vocal about its intent to improve the overall premium experience, and these lounge updates are a tangible part of that push. As the airline put it, it “remains committed to delivering distinctive flavors and thoughtful hospitality at every stage of the journey, ensuring travelers enjoy memorable experiences both on the ground and in the air.”

The Admirals Club updates began rolling out on March 16, with Flagship Lounge locations completing their refresh on April 2. So if you’ve got a trip coming up, you can expect the new menus to be in place at most locations already.

When And Where To Find The New Menus

The spring updates are now live across the lounge network. So whether you’re catching a connection at O’Hare, heading out of LAX, or departing from DFW, there’s a good chance your lounge stop just got a little better.

Keep in mind that specific dishes vary by location, and what’s listed here represents just a sample of what’s available. The full menus may include additional options depending on which airport you’re passing through.

For travelers who already factor lounge access into their flying routine, this is a welcome upgrade to an experience that can make even a long layover feel worth it.
