Cadillac is throwing down the gauntlet in the electric performance game with its new concept: the Elevated Velocity – an all-electric, high-performance, ultra-luxury crossover that blends V-Series adrenaline with go-anywhere capability. This is Cadillac’s bold vision for what can happen when extreme performance meets refined luxury… and the future looks wild.

V-Series Performance Meets Electric Future

The Elevated Velocity builds on Cadillac’s growing electric V-Series lineup, following in the tire marks of the LYRIQ-V and OPTIQ-V. This 2+2 crossover is designed to be equally at home devouring winding highways or blasting across the desert at breakneck speed.

Cadillac says the innovative concept delivers “a potent blend of extreme performance, cutting-edge advanced technologies and signature bespoke luxury craftsmanship,” offering dual experiences – luxury that elevates your ride on-road, and a lifted platform engineered for off-grid domination.

Next-Level Tech That Knows How to Party

This isn’t just an electric crossover – it’s a futuristic lounge, high-speed cockpit, and off-road command center rolled into one.

You’ve got three headline driving experiences:

  • Welcome Mode: As you approach, the floor, seats, instrument panel, doors, and steering wheel glow in soft white light. The dramatic gull-wing doors swing up, inviting you inside as an animated sand-inspired display plays on the steering wheel.
  • Elevate Mode: The ride goes autonomous, retracting pedals and steering wheel to turn the cabin into a recovery space. Cadillac explains, “Interior ambient lighting shifts to red, while the seatback lighting features infrared light to promote the optimal performance of the concept’s occupants.”
  • Velocity Mode: Everything sharpens. Cool white lighting, backlit doors, and a deployable steering wheel showing speed, battery health, and AR navigation. It’s pure driver focus mode.

Drive Modes for Any Terrain

Cadillac’s not kidding about this thing being versatile. The Elevated Velocity’s drive modes read like a wish list for speed junkies and off-road warriors:

  • e-Velocity Mode – The ultimate on-road thrill, evolving the V-Mode found in today’s V-Series.
  • Terra Mode – Peak off-road capability with air suspension.
  • Sand Vision – See through sandstorms with enhanced visibility tech.
  • Elements Defy – Keeps the exterior clean with “dust-phobic vibration” so you roll up looking pristine.

Bold Looks That Mean Business

From the stretched hood to the 24-inch wheels, Elevated Velocity screams confidence. The Vapor Blue exterior (with icy grey undertones) contrasts a fiery red interior, and the glass features a blue tint for an extra layer of cool.

Cadillac’s design team went all in: gull-wing doors designed for easy entry, translucent front lighting, vertical light tunnels at the rear, and precision detailing everywhere — even the wheel materials are a blend of flax fiber and black crystal tint acrylic.

A Cabin Built for Luxury and Adrenaline

Step inside and you’re immersed in deep Morello Red leather, sleek Cerise fabric, and Garnet boucle, all accented by brushed metal. It’s plush, but everything’s been designed to handle extreme adventures.

When Elevate Mode is selected, the cabin engages climate and air systems to help keep you refreshed, integrates red light therapy, and purifies the air. There’s even a vault compartment for valuables.. because when you’re pushing limits, you don’t want to worry about your watch.

And just to flex, Cadillac included a bespoke polo set in the rear, matching the Vapor Blue exterior and red interior theme.

Where to See It First

The Cadillac Elevated Velocity concept will make its public debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California, on August 15, 2025.
