Feast Your Eyes On The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series
Cadillac is having a big year. The brand officially joined the Formula 1 grid in 2026, and this weekend their team races on American soil for the first time at the Miami Grand Prix. To mark the occasion, Cadillac is celebrating the only way a performance car brand should, by building something seriously special.
Say hello to the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series: a limited-run, track-ready, hand-shifting monster that stands as the most powerful Blackwing ever produced. And with only 26 units being made (one for each year Cadillac joined the F1 grid), this is as exclusive as it gets.
685 Horsepower and More Torque Than You Can Handle
The numbers tell the story. Cadillac took the already-formidable 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that powers the standard CT5-V Blackwing and turned the dial to 11. Thanks to an upgraded supercharger developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports, output jumps from 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque to a jaw-dropping 685 horsepower and 673 pound-feet of torque.
That supercharger cover, by the way, isn’t just an upgraded piece of hardware, it’s also a work of craftsmanship. It features a CNC-machined F1 logo and a laser-etched FIA logo, created in-house by GM Motorsports. This is a car where every single detail has a story.
GM President Mark Reuss didn’t hold back when describing what this car represents:
“The CT5-V Blackwing embodies the very best of Cadillac track-capable performance. With the F1 Collector Series, we’re channeling the energy and innovation of Formula 1 into a road-ready sedan that feels every bit as special as our entry into the sport. Each of the 26 vehicles is curated to be a centerpiece in any collection and a true celebration of Cadillac’s new era in Formula 1.”
Manual Transmission Only, No Exceptions
Here’s what separates the true believers from the rest: Cadillac is offering the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission. No paddles. No automatic option. If you want one of these 26 cars, you better know how to row your own gears.
That’s a bold move in 2026, and honestly, it’s the right one. The standard CT5-V Blackwing has always been a driver’s car at heart, and the F1 Collector Series doubles down on that philosophy in the most satisfying way possible.
The Precision Package Is Standard Equipment
Every one of the 26 cars comes standard with the Precision Package: an $18,000 upgrade on a regular Blackwing. That means you’re getting upgraded suspension components, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires right out of the box. This car is genuinely track-ready the moment it leaves the dealership.
A Design That Channels the F1 Paddock
Cadillac didn’t just slap a few badges on a Blackwing and call it a day. The F1 Collector Series wears a bespoke Midnight Stone Frost exterior finish that echoes the Cadillac Formula 1 race livery, paired with:
- Carbon Flash Metallic wheels
- Harbor Gray Metallic brake calipers
- Carbon fiber lower bodywork with a Switchblade Silver pinstripe
- Gloss black exterior badging and monochromatic Cadillac crests
The entire look is sharp, dark, and purposeful, exactly what you’d want from a car celebrating one of motorsport’s most iconic championships.
F1 Details You’ll Find All Over the Car
The F1 and FIA branding isn’t just cosmetic noise; it’s well integrated throughout the car in genuinely cool ways. Cadillac and the FIA worked closely on this build, and the results are everywhere you look (and some places you won’t notice until your buddy points them out):
The F1 logo is stamped directly into the driver’s door using a new automated craftsmanship technique called “autocraft” stamping. The rear spoiler carries both F1 and FIA logos. The carbon fiber rocker panels feature the FIA logo. Climb inside and you’ll find “Cadillac Formula 1” sill plates, embossed F1 graphics on the seat headrests, and a special F1 medallion on the manual shifter. Even under the hood, the supercharger cover wears a CNC-machined F1 logo alongside a laser-etched FIA emblem.
Each car also has a unique Builder’s Badge featuring both logos and individual serialization. Number 1 of 26 is going to be worth a lot of money someday.
When Can You Get One, and What Will It Cost?
Production kicks off in mid-2026, with sales limited to the U.S. and Canada. Cadillac hasn’t announced pricing yet, but let’s do some quick math: a standard CT5-V Blackwing loaded with the Precision Package and both Carbon Fiber Packages runs about $135,175.
With the upgraded supercharger and ultra-exclusive status, expect the F1 Collector Series to blow past $150,000.. possibly well past it.
With only 26 units available for the entire North American market, this isn’t a car you walk into a dealership and buy off the lot. It’s the kind of car that finds its owners.
So, What’s It Worth to You?
685 horsepower. A mandatory 6-speed manual. Track-spec hardware. F1 pedigree. And one of 26 ever built.
The question isn’t whether this car is worth the money, as it clearly is. The question is whether you’ll be one of the 26 people lucky enough to own one. If you had the chance, would you pull the trigger on it? I know I would!
