Center City District SIPS 2025: Philly’s Midweek Party Is Back

If you’re looking for a reason to actually enjoy Wednesdays this summer, look no further than Center City District SIPS. Back for its 21st season, this beloved Philly tradition transforms the midweek slump into something worth looking forward to, running every Wednesday evening from June 4 through August 27, 2025, from 5-7pm.

More than 90 bars, restaurants, rooftops, beer gardens, and lounges across Center City are participating this year, offering the kind of drink and food deals that make you feel like you’re winning happy hour. Expect $7 cocktails, $6 wine pours, and $5 beers. Most places also offer half-price appetizers during the event, and new for 2025, you can keep the night going with 15% off dinner after 7pm at select spots.

Before the weekly series starts, CCD is throwing a nostalgic 21st birthday bash at Dilworth Park on May 21 from 5–7 p.m. The free event, hosted in partnership with Wooder Ice, promises early-2000s nostalgia with themed décor, a live DJ, and giveaways, plus SIPS pricing and Hornitos Tequila activations. Think of it as a grown-up version of the Y2K-era basement party, but with better drinks and city views.

Now, let’s talk about where to go. With over 90 venues in the mix, your options are wide open. Some of the hottest spots to hit include Uptown Beer Garden, known for its massive, tree-shaded patio and laid-back beer hall energy, and Darling Jack’s Tavern, which blends upscale comfort food with stylish cocktails like their signature blood-orange margarita. If rooftop views are more your thing, head to Attico, or try Air Grille Garden at Dilworth Park, which is debuting the exclusive SIPS Summer Splash, a lime-forward Mexican-style lager brewed just for this year’s event.

This year also brings in some fresh faces. Keep an eye out for newcomers like F1 Arcade, Flight Club Social Darts, Mona, and Dear Daphni, along with perennial favorites like Butcher Bar, Con Murphy’s, Double Knot, and Barra Rossa.
