2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Brings 550 Horses Of Gas-Powered Attitude
Dodge just blew the doors off the muscle car game with the debut of their all-new 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack. Starting at just $54,995, this beast packs a jaw-dropping 550 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged inline-six engine (that’s right baby, this is gas-powered!), making it the most powerful car you can buy for under $55K. More muscle, more speed, and more attitude for less money.
0–60 in 3.9 Seconds with All-Wheel-Drive Mayhem
Under the hood, the Charger Scat Pack hides a performance-tuned version of Dodge’s new 3.0-liter SIXPACK high-output Hurricane engine. This twin-turbo straight-six lays down 550 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque, launching the coupe from 0–60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and through the quarter mile in 12.2 seconds, with a top speed of 177 mph.
“For 60 years, Dodge Charger has been delivering legendary muscle car performance, and we have every intention of continuing that legacy,” said Dodge CEO Matt McAlear. “This next-generation Charger lineup delivers the most horsepower and most torque of any muscle car in its class, the widest body of any car in the industry, and what our customers have told us they want: the power to choose what fuels them. The all-new turbocharged 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack is the most powerful car customers can buy priced less than $55,000.”
And yes, this thing comes standard with all-wheel drive – but thanks to an innovative clutch system, you can send 100% of the torque to the rear wheels whenever you want to drift, smoke the tires, or just feel like a legend.
SIXPACK: Modern Muscle With a Nod to Dodge Heritage
Dodge is again leaning into its rich history with the “SIXPACK” badge, but don’t go looking for old-school carburetors. In 2026, SIXPACK means high-tech, high-performance, twin-turbo power. The new Charger lineup includes:
- 2026 Dodge Charger R/T: 420 hp / 468 lb-ft of torque, top speed of 168 mph, starting at $49,995
- 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack: 550 hp / 531 lb-ft of torque, top speed of 177 mph, starting at $54,995
Both models use the award-winning Hurricane Twin Turbo engine, but the Scat Pack gets the high-output treatment for serious muscle.
Twin-Turbos, Real Speed
This isn’t just a big engine in a pretty shell. The SIXPACK H.O. engine is built with performance features that include:
- Twin Garrett GT2054 turbochargers, 54mm, low inertia and high flow to spin up fast, with a peak boost of 30 psi and an RPM of 185,000 for the SIXPACK H.O., which pushes more air into the combustion chamber, delivering more horsepower and torque
- Turbine material is constructed with Inconel 100, the first industry application, providing exceptional high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation and thermal fatigue, making it ideal for withstanding the extreme heat and stress of turbocharger operation
- Twin counter-rotating turbos reduce turbo lag and balance airflow dynamics, improving throttle response and overall engine efficiency in high-performance applications
You’re looking at a powertrain designed not just to look good on paper, but to dominate at the strip, on the street, and in every gear.
Burnouts? Check. Donuts? Check. Line Lock? Hell Yes.
This Charger is ready to party. Thanks to features like Line Lock, Launch Control, and a rear-wheel drive mode, you can:
- Do tire-shredding burnouts
- Drift effortlessly
- Dial in launch rpm based on grip conditions
- Shift power to all four wheels for max traction off the line
Plus, Brembo brakes, active exhaust with 100mm rolled tips, a limited-slip diff, and five selectable drive modes make this car as thrilling to corner as it is to launch.
Built for the Streets, Styled to Turn Heads
Visually, the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack brings that widebody muscle look you expect from Dodge, now with the widest body of any car in the industry. A sculpted performance hood, aggressive front fascia, and rear debossed “CHARGER” badge let you know it’s no EV knockoff.
Wheel options abound, but the Scat Pack comes standard with 20×10-inch Diamond Cut Luster wheels wrapped in Goodyear 275/40ZR20 tires. Want something louder? Choose from exterior colors like Bludicrous, Redeye, or the new Green Machine.
Muscle Car Meets Tech Overload
Inside, this isn’t your dad’s Charger. The dynamic, driver-focused interior design enhances the SIXPACK-powered Charger’s modern feel and builds on the exterior’s pure design aesthetic with features that include:
- 10.25-inch digital cluster + 12.3-inch center display
- Attitude Adjustment lighting with 64-color ambient lighting
- Performance-focused flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters
- Optional 18-speaker Alpine PRO audio system (914 watts of ear candy)
- Wireless charging, HUD, surround cameras, and a “pistol-grip” shifter
Inspired by the 1968 Charger, the modern cockpit blends heritage design with modern flair, plus enough rear cargo space (37.4 cu. ft.) to make it practical-ish. And just because it’s a tire-smoking monster doesn’t mean Dodge skimped on the tech.
The 2026 Dodge Charger comes with a plethora of safety features, available 360-degree camera with tire-to-curb view, smartphone-as-key, OTA updates, vehicle tracking, remote start, and more via Dodge Connect ONE.
