Meet The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona: EV Power Meets Four-Door Muscle
Dodge is rewriting the muscle car rulebook again, and this time they’re adding an extra set of doors. The all-new 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona Sedan is here, and it’s not just any sedan. It’s the world’s only 4-door muscle car, and it delivers a knockout combination of electrifying performance, aggressive styling, and everyday practicality — all without a drop of gasoline.
A Design That Channels Muscle Car Heritage
At first glance, the four-door Charger Daytona looks nearly identical to its two-door coupe sibling, and that’s by design. Both versions share the same widebody stance, bold roofline, and front and rear fascias. Dodge took inspiration from the 1968 Charger but updated it with modern cues, like signature LED lighting and sculpted aerodynamics.
“The beauty is in the simplicity,” said Dodge CEO Matt McAlear. “It’s a real testament to the Dodge design and engineering teams that apart from two additional doors, the Dodge Charger Daytona sedan embodies the same look and feel as the coupe, with the same widebody exterior, driver-centric interior, muscle car performance and standard all-wheel-drive capability, combined with four-door practicality.”
670 Horsepower, All-Electric, All Muscle
Underneath that aggressive shell lies a beast of a powertrain. Both the four-door and two-door Scat Pack models pack a 400-volt dual motor system that delivers 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough juice to rocket this electric muscle car from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, delivering Hellcat Redeye levels of performance.
Dodge is also making things simpler for gearheads: the 2026 model year will ship with full horsepower unlocked from the factory. No upgrades, no fees, just raw performance from Day 1.
Track-Ready Hardware, Now Optional
Buyers who want to dial their Charger Daytona up a few notches can add the available Track Package. This performance bundle includes red Brembo six-piston fixed front and four-piston rear brakes, dual valve adaptive damping suspension, sticky Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, a gloss black rear spoiler, and even a Drive Experience Recorder that captures your driving data, audio, and video while you burn rubber at the track.
The Scat Pack’s massive brakes and rubber give it serious stopping power and grip, making it more than just a straight-line bruiser. And yes, all of this muscle comes with standard all-wheel drive and a mechanical limited-slip rear differential.
Designed to Dominate the Road — And Your Daily Commute
Performance isn’t all that the Charger Daytona brings to the table. The sedan version delivers best-in-class passenger volume and cargo space, thanks to its cleverly disguised rear hatch and spacious second row. Inside, you’ll find a modern, driver-focused cockpit with premium materials and high-tech touches throughout.
A 16-inch digital cluster screen and a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen bring all your driving data and entertainment into clear view. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and Performance Pages with EV data come standard. Even the shifter is a throwback to muscle cars of old, with a pistol-grip design.
Fratzonic Sound and R-Wing Aerodynamics
Sure, this Charger is electric, but it doesn’t stay silent. Every Scat Pack model includes the world’s first patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust. This system delivers a signature “rumble” tied to the car’s performance output, giving drivers an emotional and sensory connection to their machine.
Complementing the sound is a standard patent-pending front R-Wing pass-through, which improves airflow while maintaining that classic Charger aggression. The black lower rear fascia features “Daytona” and “Fratzonic” text logos for those who notice the small, badass details.
Style Options That Pop
To help your Charger stand out from the crowd, Dodge is introducing new Fratzog dual racing stripes and a gloss black painted hood for 2026. The stripes include subtle red accents and a repeating Fratzog logo, while the hand-painted hood enhances the centerlines of the car with an aggressive two-tone look.
Interior Vibes with 64-Color Mood Lighting
Inside, the Charger Daytona continues to impress. An available Attitude Adjustment lighting system wraps around the cabin with 64 selectable colors and intensity levels that react to door openings and ignition events. The performance-oriented flat-top, flat-bottom steering wheel includes paddle shifters and a dedicated PowerShot button — when pressed, it delivers an extra 40 horsepower for 10 seconds. Yes, really.
Design touches call back to the 1968 Dodge Charger while staying firmly rooted in the future. Optional packages like Carbon & Suede, Plus Group, and Blacktop give buyers even more ways to customize the cabin with carbon fiber, leather/suede seating, panoramic glass roofs, and premium 18-speaker Alpine sound systems.
One-Touch Muscle: Customizable Drive Modes and Tech
Whether you’re carving corners or cruising downtown, the Charger Daytona’s One-button Press Experience lets drivers instantly switch between modes like Track, Sport, Drag, and Custom. Even the cluster and head-up display adjust based on your selection. You can tailor your regenerative braking with paddle shifters or use one-pedal driving for a smooth urban commute.
The Charger Daytona offers a max range of 241 miles and supports fast charging from 20 to 80% in just 24 minutes using a Level 3 charger. Dodge includes a standard Level 1/Level 2 charging cord so you can juice up from 120V or 240V outlets.
Performance Driving School Included
Every 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona comes with a one-day performance driving experience at the Radford Racing School, the official high-performance driving school of Dodge/SRT. So whether you’ve been racing for years or just want to learn how to handle that instant torque, Dodge is giving owners the tools to push their muscle car to the limit.
