If you enjoy watching relationships get stress-tested to the breaking point (by some smoking hotties), you’re going to want to clear your schedule, because Temptation Island Season 2 is arriving on Netflix on April 10th. And if the trailer below is any indication, this season is going to be pretty insane.

What Is Temptation Island and Why Should You Care?

Temptation Island 2 Single Women

While this will be the second season to air on Netflix, Temptation Island has been around since 2001, with the first three seasons airing on Fox before the show was rebooted on USA Network for five more seasons. Netflix took over the franchise and relaunched it in 2025, and now it’s back with a brand-new cast of couples who are ready to put their love on the line.

The premise is deliciously simple and brutally effective. Four couples at a crossroads in their relationships go to paradise to temporarily break up, while attractive singles are ready to show them what they’re missing out on. The singles have one goal in mind – tempt the leads into straying from their partners. Meanwhile, each couple faces a difficult question: Is their current partner really the right person for them, or should they break up and explore a potential new connection?

The Setup: Sun, Sand, and a Whole Lot of Drama

Temptation Island 2 Foam Party

“Sometimes the success of a relationship starts with drawing a line in the sand. What better place to do that than on the sweltering beaches of Temptation Island?”

That’s the premise in a nutshell. In Season 2, four couples with real relationship baggage — everything from trust issues to intimacy problems to full-blown infidelity — arrive on a tropical island and immediately split up. The men live with a group of single women, the women live with a group of single men, and everyone starts asking uncomfortable questions about their relationships.

At the end of the season, each person has to make one of three choices: recommit to their partner, leave the island alone, or walk away with someone they just met. No pressure.

Meet the Four Couples Playing With Fire

Temptation Island 2 Couples

This season’s cast is bringing some genuinely compelling storylines to the beach.

Kaylee & Summit are an opposites-attract couple whose differences have started creating real friction. As Kaylee puts it, “Summit and I are like fire and rain.” Summit is a spontaneity junkie who isn’t sure he’s ready to settle down: “I love freedom and squeezing everything out of life. Commitment is something I want eventually, but it’s also something I want to be very sure about before I sign up for forever.”

Sydney & Mikey are dealing with a trust gap rooted in Mikey’s past. He openly admits he once lived life as a “player” and is on the island to prove he’s changed. Sydney, however, isn’t giving out passes — she’s made it clear that loyalty is non-negotiable.

Scarlett & Cole look great on paper – ambitious, fitness-focused, driven, but Cole’s habit of telling small lies to avoid confrontation has eroded Scarlett’s trust. Their ground rules heading into the experiment are straightforward: “Nothing physical with the singles. No cheating. Have fun but be respectful.” Whether Cole can stick to that on an island full of singles is another question entirely.

Shyanne & Jack carry the heaviest history of the group. High school sweethearts with 5 years together, their relationship was rocked when Jack cheated. They’re on the island looking for either closure or proof that they can actually move forward.

Mark L. Walberg Is Back to Guide the Chaos

Temptation Island 2 - Mark L. Walberg

Veteran host Mark L. Walberg returns to lead the four couples through the emotional gauntlet, including the show’s signature bonfire ceremonies where contestants watch footage of what their partners have been up to. It’s the kind of television that makes you cringe and hit play at the same time.

As the show promises, each partner will “attempt to wade through temptation to reach self-discovery and newfound relationship stability.” Whether they actually get there is an entirely different story.

When and Where to Watch

Temptation Island Season 2 consists of nine one-hour episodes, all dropping April 10, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. That’s nine hours of relationship drama, temptation, and some very difficult conversations — all bingeable in a single weekend if you’re ambitious enough.

Set a reminder. This one’s going to get messy!
