Netflix Just Dropped The Trailer For The Action-Pack Heist Film ‘Lift’

Netflix debuted the trailer for Lift, the action-packed heist film starring Kevin Hart, during the Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys game the other night (rather fitting, as Hart is a proud Eagles fan), and the movie looks pretty sweet, with Hart taking on more of an action-oriented persona, rather than his standard comedy roles!

In the new film from director F. Gary Gray (Friday, The Italian Job, The Fate of the Furious), an international band of expert criminals led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart) are recruited by the government to prevent a terrorist attack by doing what they do best, robbing the rich. There’s only one catch.. They’ve got to “lift” $500 million in gold from a passenger plane mid-flight at 40,000 feet. Hope no one is afraid of heights.

Lift sports an ensemble cast with Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, and Sam Worthington.

Buckle up, because this is going to be a turbulent flight. Lift lands on Netflix (see what we did there?) on January 12, 2024.
