When Titanic was released back in 1997, it was a cultural phenomenon, playing in theaters for nearly 10 months, with many people going back and seeing the movie multiple times. In the end, the movie grossed a whopping $2.264 billion at the box office, won 11 Academy Awards (including Best Picture), and continues to attract fans 25 years after it was originally released.

I may be showing my age, but I still remember going to the movie theater with my girlfriend to see Titanic (and trying to hold back some tears afterwards), it was that impactful of a movie. And later I even bought it on VHS, the movie being so long that it spanned two tapes! As you might imagine, the picture quality wasn’t that great, but back then we were still rocking CRT televisions, so it didn’t really matter.

These days, people have massive 65-inch TVs that show every detail. So when we learned that Paramount Pictures had remastered Titanic for its 25th anniversary and that it was now being offered in 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, we were super eager to check it out. And let me tell you, the movie looks and sounds incredible!

Titanic is available in a two-disc set that includes the film on 4K Ultra HD, plus a Blu-ray Disc boasting more than five hours of new and legacy bonus content, including new interviews with James Cameron, star Kate Winslet, and producer Jon Landau.  The set also includes access to a Digital Ultra HD copy of the film.

Titanic is also available in a Limited-Edition Collector’s Boxed Set that’s a must-have for fans and perfect for gift giving. This spectacular set includes all of the above along with the following exclusive collectibles in an elegant slipcase:
