Toshiba Portege Ultrabook Survives Dog Drool Test

Toshiba just launched some pretty funny “field tests” on YouTube, including this cringe-inducing test that pits the Toshiba Portege Ultrabook against a Drooling Dog who’s hungry for bacon. Why? To back up their claim of being able to withstand 50ml of water.

In each of their Field Tests, they take one of their standard product tests and go one…or seven steps further to see how their products perform in the most absurd situations – From freezing the new Encore tablet in a block of ice, to testing the boot-up speed of their SSD with an epic paintball duel.

Toshiba wants to show people that they stand behind their products and think of everything when it comes to the ways they test them – and they’re not afraid to have a little fun along the way.
