Captain Morgan Cocktail Recipes You’ll Be Giving Thanks For This Year

Fall is in the air, the leaves are changing and today’s going to be full of savory and sweet treats, because it’s one of my favorite holidays this week, Thanksgiving! And who can blame me, as I’m going to stuff myself with delicious turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls, and much more. And then it’s time for dessert, where I devour way too much pumpkin pie!

Of course, this year’s festivities will be a little different from most on account of the pandemic. But whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving, virtually or in-person, Captain Morgan has some suggestions that will surely make things a little easier this year.

To compliment your Thanksgiving spread (or to help drown out your crazy Uncle Bill), Captain Morgan has some easy-to-make cocktail recipes that all of your guests will enjoy. Serve up our flavorful Captain and Ginger or delicious Captain Morgan Holiday Spiced and Sliced and toast away to all things you are thankful for this year.

Captain Morgan and Ginger

Ingredients:

  • 1.5oz Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
  • 4oz Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer
  • Mint Sprig
  • Lemon

Directions: Muddle mint and lemon in the bottom of a tall glass. Add ice, Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum and Ginger Ale. Garnish with mint sprig and lemon wheel, stir and serve.

Holiday Spiced & Sliced

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 oz Captain Original Spiced Rum
  • 3/4 oz Captain Spiced Apple
  • 1/4oz lime juice
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • 1.5oz ginger beer
  • lime wheel

Directions: Fill a high ball glass with ice. Shake Original Spiced Rum, Sliced Apple, Cranberry Juice and Lime Juice in a shaker with ice. Pour into high ball glass, top with ginger beer and garnish with lime wheel.
