What I’m Listening To – 11/29/11

Have you ever gotten some songs stuck in your head, and you end up listening to those tracks over and over again? That’s what happened to me this week with these two tracks. Enjoy!

Oh Land – We Turn it Up

I was in the Express at the mall and this song started playing. Don’t know why, but it really stuck in my head. After a few minutes, I whipped out my phone and Shazam’d it. Turns out this song has also been featured in a Honda Civic commercial, as well as the Mac OS X Lion video. Fun little song, don’t you agree?

I heard this song on XM’s Backspin station last week, and I absolutely LOVED IT! How I missed this song when it was first released (back in 1990) is beyond me, but I’m glad I discovered it now. There’s a definitely LL Cool J thing going on here, and that’s a good thing in my book. How I wish we could go back to the music from this era..
