I’m getting a bit of a late start today, as I had a little too much to drink last night! 🙂

Foster The People – Helena Beat (LENNO REMIX)

I really dig Foster The People. Pumped Up Kicks was a dope track, but Helena Beat is even better IMHO. A 16-year old kid named Lenno worked his magic on the track, and the result is amazing! I’ve seriously had it on repeat for almost a week now, and I’m still not tired of it..

The Fugees – Ready Or Not

I really miss The Fugees. Unfortunately, as with many bands, fighting amongst the bandmates led to them breaking up and pursuing solo careers. There was a brief reunion in 2004-2005 with an accompanying tour, but they parted ways afterwards, with many harsh words being said. Here’s hoping that this trio can reunite work out their personal differences!

Spacehog – In the Meantime

Here’s another 90s throwback I came across when going through my old CD collection.. They had a strong first album, but subsequent albums didn’t fare so well. Nonetheless, hearing this song after 15 years still brings a smile to my face. So here’s to all the Spacehog fans!
