What I’m Listening To – 11/08/11

This week’s selections have been getting a TON of play on the radio, and now I can’t get them out of my head. Let me know what you think.

Adele – Someone Like You

Adele has achieved incredible success with her first two albums, 19 and 21 (named for her age at the time she started recording the albums). Unfortunately, she was forced to cancel the rest of her 2011 tour due to two vocal hemorrhages that she’s suffered. She’ll need to undergo surgery, after which she’ll need a number of months to fully recover. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery!

Rihanna – We Found Love ft. Calvin Harris

Rihanna’s back with another hit, and it’s a real club banger! The video is pretty disturbing trippy, but 99% of listeners will never even see the video so it doesn’t really matter. 🙂
