Chevrolet is giving the new 2026 Corvette a major interior overhaul, transforming the cabin of every model—Stingray, E-Ray, Z06, and ZR1. The new design brings a premium mix of cutting-edge technology, high-end materials, and thoughtful craftsmanship, making the Corvette’s cockpit feel more connected and luxurious than ever before.

“Corvette is the ultimate American sports car, which is why it has remained the luxury sport segment leader for more than 20 years — with the next competitor a distant second in terms of market share,” said Scott Bell, vice president of Chevrolet. “With these updates, the mid-engine Corvette will continue to cement its leadership for years to come.”

A Display System That Puts You in Command

One of the biggest highlights is the brand-new digital display setup. Drivers now get a larger 12.7-inch center console display, an expanded 14-inch driver information center, and a new 6.6-inch touchscreen auxiliary display to the left of the steering wheel. This trio of screens keeps everything within reach, from performance metrics to infotainment, all with sharper graphics and more customization options than ever before.

“The design team considered every element — from materials, to stitching, to layout of the interior – for the 2026 Corvette,” said Phil Zak, executive design director, Global Chevrolet. “Paired with the new screens and technology, the refreshed interior enables a refined experience for the driver and the passenger.”

A Smarter, Cleaner Console Layout

The center console has been reimagined to make things more intuitive and functional. The drive mode selector is now positioned alongside the gear selector for easier access, and the wireless phone charging pad is tucked beneath the infotainment system with a smart cover to keep your phone secure. Even the HVAC controls have been moved to a more convenient spot under the center display, which not only improves usability but also frees up space between the driver and passenger for a new grab handle.

Attention to detail shows up everywhere, from redesigned cupholders with ambient lighting and real aluminum accents (in select trims) to the classic Corvette crossed flags logo at the bottom of each holder. For those opting for higher trims like the ZR1, there’s even an available carbon fiber display hood that ties perfectly into the car’s performance-inspired aesthetic.

Advanced Tech Meets High Performance

Beyond just looking sharp, the 2026 Corvette interior is loaded with performance-focused tech. The new touchscreen auxiliary display gives you quick access to key metrics like trip mileage and Performance Traction Management settings, while the main infotainment system supports even deeper customization. The Performance App, introduced on the E-Ray in 2024, is now available across the entire lineup, bringing features like live power and torque flow, acceleration timers, a revamped G-force gauge, and real-time tire pressure and temperature monitoring.

“There’s an intentional balance of physical and virtual controls. For example, the head-up display controls are now virtualized, which opens space for Performance Traction Management controls to be intuitive physical buttons. The technology in the new Corvette is as strong and capable as the engine behind you,” said Dusty Smith, performance driving product manager.

For track-day fans, the Performance Data Recorder has been upgraded with a new interface and bigger screens. You can now review your driving sessions in real-time, complete with high-definition video, detailed speed trace analysis, and side-by-side video playback—all right from the center console display.

More Ways to Stay Connected

All 2026 Corvettes feature a custom infotainment system with Google Built-in, fully integrated with vehicle controls. With OnStar connectivity available, the Corvette packs convenience and entertainment to match its world-class performance. Customers can use voice assistance to control everything from opening the Performance Data Recorder to navigation, adjusting cabin temperature, playing your favorite song, texting, making phone calls and more.

New apps like Google Chrome, HBO Max, Prime Video, and others available through Google Play allow occupants to stream movies, play games, and browse the web while parked. And of course, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain part of the package for ultimate flexibility.

Premium Materials and Bold New Looks

Customization is a big part of the 2026 Corvette experience, and Chevy is raising the bar here too. The cabin now offers a Corvette-first asymmetrical interior in Jet Black and Adrenaline Red, creating a dramatic contrast between the driver and passenger areas. Lindsey Grant, color, material, and finish design manager for Global Chevrolet, described it best: “The Jet Black and Adrenaline Red complement each other well as they run through the dash, center console and seats, drawing a dramatic separation between the driver and passenger areas.”

Other new interior options include Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray with Habanero accents, a vibrant Santorini Blue, a deep Very Dark Atmosphere brown paired with Jet Black and Natural Tan, and the ultra-premium Ultimate Suede package with customizable accent stitching and seatbelt colors. You can even mix it up with a racing-inspired Adrenaline Red Competition driver’s seat paired with a Jet Black GT2 passenger seat for a bold, sporty touch.

Even More to Get Excited About

Chevy isn’t stopping at the interior. For the first time, Performance Traction Management now includes a new PTM Pro mode, giving skilled drivers more control by turning off stability and traction controls while keeping ABS and key E-Ray front axle features active. The ZR1’s ZTK performance package introduces a massive new brake setup with 10-piston front and 6-piston rear calipers, and carbon ceramic discs—the largest brakes ever fitted to a production Corvette.

The new electrochromic roof lets you adjust your targa roof glass tint with the push of a button, offering full, medium, and low tint settings. E-Ray drivers will find the Charge+ button moved to a more convenient spot on the steering wheel, making it easier to manage battery life during spirited sessions.

Additionally, new paint options like Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic join the lineup, along with an asymmetrical exterior center stripe in Edge Red and Carbon Flash. Body color rocker panels now come standard on the E-Ray and are available on the Z06, and blue brake calipers expand their availability beyond just the ZR1.

Final Thoughts

The 2026 Corvette’s interior upgrades are more than just a refresh—they’re a full evolution of what a modern American sports car can be. While I loved the 2020 Corvette C8 that we tested, my one big complaint was about the long strip of HVAC buttons running down the console. Thankfully, Chevrolet finally addressed that issue with this interior refresh.

With a stronger focus on driver engagement, top-tier tech, and premium craftsmanship, the new 2026 Corvette is shaping up to keep its legendary status well into the future.
