Hennessey C7 Corvette Hits 200 MPH On A Texas Toll Road

Texas tuner John Hennessey is the king of high-horsepower muscle cars, and the 2014 Corvette Stingray is the latest car to get the Hennessey treatment. The HPE600 in the video had a 100 HP Nitrous Express kit, bringing it up to 700HP!

This vehicle became the first 2014 Corvette Stingray to break the 200 mph barrier, reaching a max speed of 200.6 mph on a closed section of the Grand Parkway, which connects I-10 to Hwy. 290 on the west side of Houston. The run was verified with both the VBox GPS-based data acquisition system and by radar courtesy of Texas DPS State Troopers who were on hand.
