How To Plan The Perfect Guys Night

Published

on

When it comes to planning a fun guys night, you don’t need to overthink it – a great night with your buddies is as simple as choosing the activity, food and drinks. But if you’re looking to plan a really memorable night, it helps to have some sort of structure in place so you don’t all wind up sitting in front of the TV wondering what to do with your evening. Here are some ideas to make sure you have a great night with your friends, whether you choose to stay in or head out.

Choose The Activity

If you’re having the guys over to your place, you need to provide some form of entertainment so the first step in planning a guys night is choosing what you’re all going to do. That might be a poker night where you can all exercise some healthy competition, watching the football or having a chilled night of gaming. Have a think about how your space will work for each activity though – for example, if you choose a game of poker then you’ll want to keep distractions to a minimum & maybe you’ll want some tips for new players from LeoVegas Online Casino. If you are catching the game or embarking on a Call of Duty session, you will want everyone to be in view of the big screen, so this may require moving the furniture around a bit to ensure that everyone can see what’s going on. Don’t have the room at your place? Plan a night out on the town instead at the local bar or casino.

Guest List

The next step in planning your night is deciding who will be joining you. You will want to give everyone plenty of advanced notice so they can make sure they’re free, so don’t leave it until the last minute as they may have made other plans by then. Pick a date that you think should work for most people and then set up a Facebook chat or a WhatsApp group so everyone can stay up to date with the latest plans. And it goes without saying that the further in advance you do this, the more of your mates will be able to attend.

Get The Food and Drinks In

To throw a truly great guys night, you need to make sure that your food and drink game is on point. If you’re out to impress, then you might want to cook the food yourself or if you’re not much of a chef in the kitchen, then takeout is always an easy option that takes the pressure off of you for the night. It also means that everyone can order what they want, rather than being stuck with something they aren’t a fan of. Make sure the fridge is stocked up with plenty of drinks for the group too, as there’s nothing worse than having to do a supermarket run halfway through the night because you’ve under-prepared. Alternatively, if you’re heading out for the night then you may want to plan where you’re all going to eat and drink on the go.
