Introducing The 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA

Published

on

The stunning 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this week, but thanks to some high-profile reveals (Corvette, Ford Atlas, Lexus IS, etc), it didn’t receive the attention it truly deserved.

We think the Mercedes-Benz CLA will be another game-changer for Mercedes, leaving the rest of the competition scrambling to play catch up.

An uncompromising four-door coupe with stunning beauty, innovative brains and turbocharged brawn, the all-new CLA promises to elevate pulses at a jaw-dropping value. Sculpted to cheat the wind, this turbocharged tour de force was built to viscerally appeal to every driver, even if they’ve never considered owning a Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes hopes to appeal to a younger demographic, one that can appreciate both it’s stylish good looks and it’s relatively affordable pricetag.

While Mercedes hasn’t reveiled pricing for the CLA just yet, company officials say they intend to position the car as a more affordable gateway to the brand with starting prices possibly just under $30,000. That’s about $5000 less than it’s cheapest C-Class model.

I think they’ve got a hit on their hands and can’t wait to see how the CLA stacks up against cars like the BMW 320i and Cadillac ATS. With 208HP and 258 lb-ft of torque on tap, I think Mercedes just put the competition on notice!

I’d totally rock this baby CLS, what about you?
