Just in time for basketball playoffs, former pageant-girl turned Boston Celtics super fan Mei-Ling Lam shows her passion not only in the stands, but also as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in the magazine’s June issue (on newsstands and online at www.playboydigital.com Friday, May 13th), with additional photos available on Playboy.com.
Hailing from the small town of Clinton, Maine, the 27-year old beauty is the first Playmate born in the state and also holds the title of 2001 Miss Maine Teen USA.
“I lived, breathed and ate pageants,” says Miss June, who credits her past pageant and modeling experiences as preparation for posing for Playboy. “I’m [now] simply celebrating womanhood and embracing how comfortable I feel in my own skin.”
Growing up, Mei-Ling spent her time hanging out at her family’s restaurant, competing in beauty pageants, and attending games to cheer on her beloved Celtics. “I love the Celtics, period, because there’s nothing like them and their fans,” Mei-Ling says. “The atmosphere is absolutely electric during games.”
When this French and Chinese bombshell isn’t cheering enthusiastically for her favorite sports team, Mei-Ling enjoys working out, running and down-hill skiing. Family is most important, and she dreams to one be day a successful entrepreneur, mother of three, and loving wife.
Miss June will be making several appearances in Las Vegas during the month, including hosting the Playboy Comedy Show at The Lounge at the Palms Casino Resort from May 20 through May 21. She will also host an autograph signing at The Playboy Store in Caesars Forum Shops on Saturday, May 21.
