Segway has some big news for e-bike fans: the brand’s best-selling Myon commuter electric bike just got more accessible, with the company announcing the Myon is now available in an XS/S frame size, fitting riders from 5’1″ through 5’10”, alongside a brand-new Minty Fresh colorway. And if that’s not enough to get you to a dealership, Segway is sweetening the deal with $100 off your purchase just for completing a test ride, but only through June 21st.

A Smarter Fit For More Riders

Until now, the Myon was only available in one frame size, which might have been too big for shorter riders. The new XS/S option opens the bike up to a wider range of riders, and it comes in both the returning Shoe Suede Blue and the new Minty Fresh color.

“We’re really excited to be able to expand the fit and sizing of our most popular e-bike to fit more riders, especially women,” said Heather Henderson, senior brand manager of e-bike at Segway. “A big part of our mission is making e-bikes more accessible for everyone and that goes beyond tech and features. Riders come in all sizes and this is a great first step in ensuring they can find a better fit for comfort and stability in our lineup.”

What Makes The Myon Worth Riding

The Myon isn’t just a pretty commuter, it’s a feature-packed machine. It’s a selectable Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike, meaning you can configure it based on your local laws and riding preferences. Under the hood (err.. inside the frame?), you’ll find Segway’s proprietary electronic shifting paired with a nine-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain, TurboTuned motor optimization, and Segway’s Intelligent Ride System – a suite of smart tech that handles security, safety, and convenience features.

For those riders who want versatility in form as well as function, the Myon is also compatible with the optional Removable Toptube accessory. This add-on converts the bike from a step-through frame to a traditional diamond frame, improving torsional rigidity and allowing riders to mount frame bags carrying up to 11 pounds.

Get $100 Off Just For Test Riding One

Here’s where things get really interesting for anyone who’s on the fence. Segway is running a nationwide dealer test ride program through June 21, 2026, offering $100 off any Segway e-bike purchase simply for completing a test ride at an official dealer, and here’s why:

“Riding is believing,” said Henderson. “Bicycles appear simple on the surface, but you can only glean so much from comparing numbers and specs on a website. It’s truly holistic how all those things come together to create a quality riding experience and you really need to ride a Segway e-bike to truly understand just how good it is.”

That’s a compelling pitch, and a hard offer to pass up if you’ve been eyeing an e-bike purchase.

Xiro Dropper Post: Industry-First Tech on Display

While you’re at the dealer, you may also get a chance to check out Segway’s Xiro automatic dropper post, an industry first. The Xiro automatically lowers as you slow to a stop, letting you put both feet on the ground for stability when mounting or dismounting.

It’s a genuinely clever piece of engineering, and select dealers will have it available for demo during the test ride event.

Where to Buy

The Segway Myon e-bike retails for $1,999.99 and is available in both XS/S and M/L sizes, while the Xiro retails for $229.99. Both are available now at store.segway.com and through official Segway e-bike dealers across the US.

To find a dealer near you and lock in that $100 test ride discount before it expires on June 21, head to Segway’s dealer locator and take one out for a spin.
