If your current airline just isn’t cutting it, but you are reluctant to switch carriers because you don’t want to give up those sweet elite status perks, I’m totally with you, as I worked way too hard for that coveted Platinum Pro status to just jump ship and throw it away.

But with Southwest Airlines’ latest promotion, you can earn that coveted A-List Status without having to earn lots of points, pay extra fees, or jump through any of hoops. From now through December 31, 2019, the budget-friendly carrier is offering a status match promotion.

Here’s how it works. If you don’t already have a Rapid Rewards account with Southwest, sign up for it (it’s free), after which you simply submit proof of your status on American, United, Delta, or any other domestic carrier via this link.

Those who take advantage of the deal will score priority boarding, a 25% point-earning bonus, free same-day standby for an earlier flight, priority check-in and security lane access, and a dedicated A-List member phone line.

According to the fine print, you will receive this status for one year from the registration date, but you can extend your status for an additional year if you fly 3 round trip select flights or 6 one-way select flights within 90 days of your enrollment date.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal if you ask me! ✈️
