TAG Heuer is setting the pace for 2025 with two striking additions to its Carrera Extreme Sport collection. These new timepieces blend precision, performance, and unmistakable style, which embody the brand’s motorsport DNA with modern craftsmanship and technical innovation.

First, the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time introduces a GMT chronograph complication to the lineup for the first time, perfect for men who travel across multiple time zones frequently. Alongside it, a full 18K rose gold chronograph redefines what sport-luxury can look like, pairing the energy of the racetrack with the sophistication of fine watchmaking.

A Legacy Born from the Carrera Panamericana

The Carrera name traces back to one of the most dangerous and celebrated races in motorsport history, the Carrera Panamericana. Jack Heuer named the collection after this high-octane competition, choosing a name that symbolized adrenaline, endurance, and precision.

Even decades later, that racing heritage continues to drive the TAG Heuer Carrera collection forward. Building on the refreshed vision introduced in 2024, the 2025 Carrera Extreme Sport models push boundaries again, combining advanced watchmaking with bold new aesthetics.

The Twin-Time: A Chronograph for Global Speed

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time is built for men who live life in motion, whether it’s tracking international race schedules or hopping time zones for business and adventure. This marks the first time a GMT function has appeared in the Carrera Extreme Sport line.

The Twin-Time’s design language makes a statement, with teal green now firmly established as the defining color for GMT models. The vibrant hue appears across the rubber strap, dial accents, central hand, and even the openworked date disc with white Super-LumiNova for legibility after dark.

At its core, the watch runs on TAG Heuer’s in-house TH20-02 automatic chronograph GMT movement, featuring a vertical clutch, column wheel, and a shield-shaped rotor. It boasts an 80-hour power reserve and bidirectional winding, backed by a five-year warranty.

A major innovation comes in the form of its dual-colored ceramic bezel, a first for TAG Heuer. Crafted from a single block of two-tone ceramic, the process creates a seamless color transition while boosting durability and aesthetic impact.

Designed for versatility, the titanium case architecture offers an athletic yet refined feel with hollowed flanks and a streamlined profile for improved comfort. The engraved Victory Wreath on the caseback serves as a subtle nod to TAG Heuer’s competitive spirit and long-standing ties to performance.

Available from September 2025, the Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time is priced at around $11,000.

The Gold Standard: Performance Meets Luxury

Whereas the Twin-Time embodies travel and precision, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport in solid rose gold is pure luxury in motion. Crafted entirely from 18K 5N rose gold, this chronograph is a bold statement piece that blends racing energy with modern refinement.

The rose gold case combines brushed and polished finishes to highlight the sharp geometry of the Carrera design, while the openworked dial reveals the powerful TH20-00 automatic chronograph movement beneath. The intricate detailing, from the gold-plated hands to the polished indexes and TAG Heuer logo, gives it an unmistakable richness and depth.

As TAG Heuer explains, “This is where the language of motorsport meets the craftsmanship of modern watchmaking.”

The movement itself continues TAG Heuer’s high-performance tradition, offering an 80-hour power reserve, vertical clutch, and column wheel. Like the Twin-Time, it also features the Victory Wreath engraving on the caseback and comes with a five-year warranty.

Available September 2025, this solid gold chronograph carries an estimated price of $27,000.

A New Expression of Extreme Sport

With these new models, TAG Heuer continues to evolve the Carrera Extreme Sport collection into new territory, one rooted in motorsport precision yet elevated with cutting-edge materials and refined craftsmanship.

Both the GMT-equipped Twin-Time and the gold Chronograph express distinct personalities: one built for travelers and racers, the other for collectors and connoisseurs who want their watch to make a statement before they even shift into gear.

TAG Heuer’s 2025 Carrera Extreme Sport lineup proves that performance and luxury aren’t opposites, they’re two sides of the same chronograph.
