TAG Heuer Unveils Goodwood Festival of Speed Carrera Chronograph
TAG Heuer is making its return to the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed this July 10–13, stepping back in as the Official Timing Partner of the event. The move comes as the Festival celebrates “The Winning Formula – Champions and Challengers” in honor of Formula 1’s 75th anniversary. Known for its deep roots in motorsport & precision timing, TAG Heuer’s presence adds another layer of prestige to one of the most iconic automotive gatherings in the world.
To mark the occasion, the iconic matchmaker is introducing a special timepiece: the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed. This limited-edition chronograph blends heritage-inspired design with the brand’s signature performance and attention to detail. Only 100 pieces are being produced, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item for fans of both racing and fine watchmaking.
The 42mm stainless steel watch is powered by TAG Heuer’s TH20-00 automatic chronograph movement, delivering both reliability and a 60-hour power reserve. The dial features a rich British racing green (inspired by Goodwood Green) with a sophisticated hobnail texture, offset by red highlights and paired with a brown perforated calfskin rally strap. Flip it over, and the sapphire crystal caseback features the Goodwood Festival of Speed logo and is individually engraved with the edition number – “XXX of 100”.
TAG Heuer CEO Antoine Pin expressed the brand’s enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying: “Motorsport is not just about the competition, it is a cultural force, just like TAG Heuer, and we are honoured to return as Timing Partner at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.”
Founder of the Festival of Speed, The Duke of Richmond, echoed the sentiment: “TAG Heuer has the most incredible connection to motor racing, and boasts an illustrious history… I am absolutely delighted to welcome them back to the Festival of Speed as our Official Timing Partner.”
This release isn’t just for the racetrack; it’s a statement piece that fits just as well on the wrist at a formal event or a weekend drive. The mix of vintage styling cues and modern mechanical craftsmanship offers a sophisticated edge without overdoing it, and for those who appreciate a well-balanced blend of tradition and innovation, it delivers.
Initially offered to members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club, the remaining watches will be available to the public in June ahead of the Festival, with a price tag of £6,450 (~$8,709).
If you’re into refined design, racing history, and low-production exclusivity, this TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
