‘Deadpool’ Red Band Trailer Is Soaked In Blood And Funny As Hell

As much as we all love the popular super-hero genre, it’s about time that a movie came in and ripped it a new one. And that’s exactly what Deadpool plans to do. The Ryan Reynolds passion project has been in the making for many years now, and with this first look we see exactly why he has been so keen to take on this character.

Just in this red band trailer, we get a perfect sense of the Quentin Tarantino-level action, with blood and brain matter flying everywhere, along with a dirty, mean edge. Simply put, this movie looks like an absolute orgy of mayhem and humor, perfectly ripped from the comic pages by first time director Tim Miller. This character happens to know that he is in a movie, and a lot of the humor will come from him addressing the audience directly by breaking the fourth wall.

We don’t get a lot of that here, but I’m sure we’ll get plenty in trailers to come. Fire it up if you want a peak at what will surely be one of the most memorable comic book movies in years.
