Feast your eyes on the 2020 BMW M4 Edition ///M Heritage, a special edition that celebrates BMW M GmbH’s storied racing history. Limited to just 750 cars worldwide, they will be offered in Laguna Seca Blue, Velvet Blue or Imola Red II, which enthusiasts will recognize as the three colors from the BMW ///M logo.
The carbon-fiber reinforced plastic roof also features an offset decorative stripe in the three M colors which has been applied to the roof through a special manufacturing process. Unique, forged 20-inch BMW M light alloy wheels finished in orbit grey are shod with 265/30R20 front and 285/40R20 rear non-runflat, mixed performance tires round out the exterior details.
Inside, the interiors have been perfectly matched to each of the 3 exterior colors and features full-Merino Leather M Sport seats in a Silverstone/Black leather with turquoise stitching for Laguna Seca Blue cars, Silverstone/Black leather with blue contrast stitching for Velvet Blue cars and Red/Black leather with red contrast stitching for Imola Red II cars.
Also, the interior carbon trim and door feature the “Edition ///M Heritage” logo and “1/750”. The interior carbon-fiber trim also features the three BWM M colors as part of the weave, creating an exclusive visual unique to this limited run of M4 cars. The seat headrest are also embroidered with the “Edition ///M Heritage” logo in the contrasting seat stitching color.
Unfortunately, BMW didn’t give the BMW M4 Edition ///M Heritage any extra power, but the car is based on the M4 Competition Package, which puts out 444 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. With a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 155mph, it’s not hurting for power.
BMW says production will begin late in 2019, with pricing to be announced at a later date. But given its exclusivity, you can definitely expect to pay a premium for one of these.
I’ll take mine in Velvet Blue, thank you very much. 🙂
