Top Places To Add To Your Travel Bucket List

Travelling the world is something a lot of people want to do, there are so many wonderful places in the world that people add to their bucket lists. Here are some places you may want to add to your list and visit in your lifetime.

Machu Picchu

It’s difficult to look at a photo of Machu Picchu without wanting to dive in. It is breathtakingly gorgeous, with its lush green grass, huge, rugged peaks, and amazing stone ruins. It makes sense why this enchanted location has been named one of the best places in the world to visit from Spain to Africa.

Maldives

When you’re gazing at a Maldivian shoreline free of any blemishes, it’s simple to imagine Nirvana. This lush beauty is literally the stuff of dreams and one of the most bucket-list-worthy places, topping the list of the world’s most beautiful islands.

The Maldives, a charming archipelago with more than a thousand islands, is located not far from Sri Lanka’s coast. The region has beaches with sugar-white sand and the clearest, turquoise sea. Fish of different sizes, colours, and shapes may be seen darting about beneath the waves, and on the shore, tall, waving palm trees sway in the warm breeze.

Africa

Who hasn’t highlighted an African safari as one of their dream vacations? It is understandable why so many people want this amazing experience because it is certain to be a journey of a lifetime. A safari is exciting, breathtaking, and picturesque, especially if it is taken in one of the most incredible places on earth.

An African safari won’t let you down, whether you’re hoping to see the animals like lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos in Kenya, bounce along in a vehicle through Kruger National Park, or soar through the air in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti National Park.

The Taj Mahal

Shah Jahan erected the Taj Mahal in remembrance of his third wife, who is claimed to have promised him on her deathbed that he would construct the most stunning building, in the middle of the sixteenth century. He undoubtedly performed his duties! Well, it took over 20,000 workers over the course of more than 17 years to complete this top bucket list item for him.

Today, this enchanted marble tomb is among the most well-known (and alluring) structures on the planet. One of the most popular tourist destinations in India is the Taj Mahal. This elaborate work of art is situated alongside the dazzling Yamuna River in a nearly 17-hectare Mughal garden.

Paris

Paris, regarded as the most romantic city in Europe, has a lot more to offer than just the famous Eiffel Tower. Some of the top shops in the world sell clothing that is so trendy that it hasn’t yet reached the North American market. You will want seconds of the delicious food served at the restaurants (and sometimes thirds).

A must-see in Paris is the Arc de Triomphe and Panthéon, while museums may keep you occupied for hours in their opulent galleries. You can hold hands while strolling along the Seine, sip coffee al fresco on the Champs-‘Elysée, and pause for a moment of reflection when walking inside the Notre-Dame Cathedral. During this trip to cross something off your bucket list, you won’t be bored at all.

Santorini

It will be difficult to find a more romantic sunset than the one in Santorini. Stepping foot on Santorini is like walking into a picture, whether you visit the charming city of Firá or watch the sunset over the crystal lake in front of stunning Oia. Couples should consider making this their honeymoon or bucket list destination.

The blue-domed buildings’ recognizable pearl white exterior is enhanced by vibrant flowers. It appears as though an artist was given free rein to decorate each property with only the most elegant of hues. A perfect natural backdrop gets just the right pop with a bright teal door here and a bold yellow wall or red gate there.

Bali

Our list of the top travel destinations on the bucket list includes a tropical paradise. Bali, the most romantic vacation in Indonesia, is a wonderland filled with natural gems so breathtaking you’ll gasp, and locals are so warm and welcoming you’ll want to invite them home.

Bali has much more to offer than just gorgeous beaches, despite the likelihood that your mind immediately conjures up visions of smooth, white sand gracefully blending with blue seas. But that doesn’t mean you’ll want to forgo the beach—you definitely won’t! We promise you, they’re amazing.

However, Bali’s heart is farther inland, among the beautiful rice fields, jagged volcanoes, and luxuriant tropical jungles. These less inhabited areas are home to tigers, orangutans, elephants, and Komodo dragons.

Lake Geneva

This Michigander compares Lake Geneva to Traverse City but without the cherries because Lake Geneva is far less expensive. There are wonderful stores, delicious cuisine, and a tonne of activities. Some of the best things to do in Lake Geneva include boating, jet skiing, ziplining, parasailing, and simply relaxing.

Lake Geneva is renowned for its countless opulent resorts, breathtaking beaches, and unspoiled landscape. Due to its illustrious past, numerous historical structures and historic mansions may still be found there; as a result, they now serve as some of Lake Geneva’s many attractions.
