Cinco de Mayo Can Mean Only One Thing.. Bring On The Tequila!

Cinco de Mayo

On May 5th 1862, Mexican soldiers won a hard fought battle over the French in Puebla, Mexico. Since then, Cinco de Mayo (Fifth of May) has become a celebration of Mexican heritage, filled with parties, food, fun, cerveza and, of course, plenty of tequila.

Now as the resident party animal alcohol expert, people often come to me with questions when planning their Cinco de Mayo parties. And the question that I’m asked most often is:

Should I splurge on the better, more expensive tequila? Is there really a big difference in taste?!

To which I reply, ab-so-lutely! The difference between cheap swill and quality tequila is night and day, and if you want your guests to truly enjoy themselves, then you should break out the good stuff. At my parties, I’ll only serve Dobel Tequila.

Dobel Tequila

Dobel is sourced from single estates and is distilled from 100% blue agave and bottled in Jalisco, Mexico. Each bottle is double-distilled, matured in Hungarian White Oak barrels, and filtered for exceptional smoothness and clarity. Once you experience Dobel, nothing else will do..

To help make your party a memorable one, we’ve compiled some cocktail recipes featuring Dobel Tequila!
