What’s on the menu for this weekend Fourth of July celebration? Hamburgers and hot dogs are pretty much standard fare for this most festive of days, but why not elevate your backyard BBQ this year with some delicious fan favorites from Burger & Lobster!
If you’ve never been to Burger & Lobster, they’re a British-born restaurant brand that offers up some of the best burgers and lobster rolls around, along with a tempting cocktail list. They’ve got locations in London, New York, Dubai, Bangkok, Malaysia, Kuwait and Singapore.
But when the pandemic shut everything down, fans of the restaurant were not able to satisfy their cravings for the Original Burger and Lobster Roll. And that’s how Burger & Lobster’s DIY kits came to be, allowing people across the Tri-state area to create surf and turf masterpieces from the comfort and safety of their homes.
And even though the restaurants have opened back up, there are many people who just aren’t ready to go maskless and dine indoors yet. For them, the Burger & Lobster DIY Meal Kits offer the next best thing to being there, with everything you need delivered right to your door, so you can recreate their iconic, mouth-watering offerings.
Burger & Lobster is offering four variations of DIY Meal Kits:
- Original Burgers for 4, complete with four 10oz Nebraskan beef patties with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, pickled onions and the brand’s secret burger sauce ($55.00)
- Original Burgers for 8, complete with four 10oz Nebraskan beef patties with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, pickled onions and the brand’s secret burger sauce ($90.00)
- Original Lobster Rolls for 4, complete with lobster for four dressed in Japanese mayo and lemon and served with lemon and garlic butter in the brand’s signature brioche roll ($90.00)
- Original Lobster Rolls for 8, complete with lobster for eight dressed in Japanese mayo and lemon and served with lemon and garlic butter in the brand’s signature brioche roll ($160.00)
Each DIY kit comes with easy-to-follow cooking instructions to ensure that you nail recreating these Burger & Lobster classics at home. There’s even a video you can watch, so you can see just how easy it is to make. Trust me, if I could handle making these, you can too.
Naturally, we had to try both of Burger & Lobster’s DIY kits for ourselves, and let me tell you, everything was delicious!
The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had quite a few in my travels), with the Japanese mayo, lemon and garlic butter giving it it’s own distinct flavor. The brioche roll is amazing, and they were extra generous on the lobster portions, making for a seriously packed lobster roll. I’m drooling just thinking about it.. 🤤
The burger was on a whole other level as well, made with Pat LaFrieda beef, a sesame-topped brioche burger bun, and all of the fixings (we’re talking lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, cheddar and American cheese, their secret burger sauce, etc), each individually wrapped for freshness. This is a seriously huge burger, so come hungry, leave happy.
