This $6,000 Toilet Warms Your Seat, Plays Music, And Flushes On Command

Kohler Numi intelligent toilet

One of the most interesting products we came across at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas was the Kohler Numi, an “intelligent toilet” that brings the traditional toilet into the 21st century, with a bevy of innovative features to elevate your bathroom experience.. Including voice control.

“Alexa, flush the toilet!”

Pretty wild, right? The Numi features ambient colored lighting, speakers with wireless streaming capability, a heated seat, a foot warmer, and more – All which can be controlled through the new KOHLER Konnect app, voice command, touchscreen remote, or motion.

But that’s not all. The Numi includes a bidet with adjustable water temperature, pressure and spray. And once you’re finished up, enjoy a warm-air dryer. As you walk away, the toilet flushes automatically and closes the lid, without you having to touch any dirty surfaces. Isn’t technology grand?

“Voice services and connected devices have become integrated into every facet of the home—with the notable exception of the bathroom,” Kohler president/CEO David Kohler said in a statement. “Until now.”

Yes, the whole concept of a “smart toilet” may seem a little out there at first. But homes are getting smarter, and there’s no reason why the bathroom should be left out. Personally, I love the idea of telling my toilet that I’m coming in for a #2 on a cold day, and sit down to a warm seat and my favorite tunes streaming..

Of course, this state-of-the-art toilet doesn’t come cheap, with pricing expected to come in at around $6,300 when it’s released this Fall. We say it’s well worth it, as it’s something you’ll enjoy day in and day out. Once you experience the magic of the Numi for yourself, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.

You’ll Never Run Out Of Power Again With The 20,100 mAh Novoo AC Power Bank

Published

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Omars Electronics, but all thoughts are our own.

Novoo AC Power Bank

How many of you suffer from charge anxiety, worried about one of your devices (phone, tablet, laptop, etc) running out of juice when you’re out and about? We’ve all been there, frantically searching for a free outlet to plug into and get charged up.

As someone who travels frequently, this is something I constantly struggle with, as it’s easy to drain your battery on a cross-country flight while playing Candy Crush or watching movies… especially if the airplane you’re on doesn’t have a USB port or power outlet.

To combat this, I always travel with a “pocket power bank”, which can charge up my phone or tablet in an emergency. But they’re not good for much else, as these little power banks simply don’t have a lot of juice, not to mention the fact that you can’t charge other devices, like your laptop (assuming it doesn’t draw too much wattage), DSLR, Bluetooth headphones, or drone.

Novoo AC Power Bank

So what’s the alternative? The 20,100 mAh Novoo AC Power Bank is your energy solution to keep your laptops, tablets, smartphones and other digital devices charged anytime, anywhere. Not only is that a CRAZY amount of battery capacity (enough to charge a smartphone more than five times), but you can charge multiple devices at once, and it supports three different types of ports: USB, USB-C, and an AC outlet.

It’s that last one that had me perk up and take notice, as I am rarely able to get through a long flight without my laptop running out of juice. With the Novoo AC Power Bank, I can plug in my laptop when I’m running low on juice and keep on going. It’s also handy if you’re traveling abroad and don’t want to buy a power adapter, or if you’re camping out in the woods. Simply charge this bad boy up before your trip, and use it to recharge your devices instead.

This actually would have been a lifesaver when I visited London last year, as I totally forgot to pack a power adaptor in my haste. Both my laptop and GoPro ran out of juice while I was out there, and I had no way of charging them back up. But if I had the Novoo AC Power Bank with me, I would have been good to go. Talk about a rookie mistake!

Novoo AC Power Bank

Best of all, the Novoo AC Power Bank won’t take up a lot of room in your backpack, as it’s only a little bigger than a soda can, measuring in at 80mm x 80mm x 155mm and weighing just 2.12 pounds. So what are you waiting for? If you’re constantly worried about running out of power, pick up the Novoo AC Power Bank (using coupon code NOVOOESS for 15% off) and leave that charge anxiety behind.

While you’re at it, make sure you check out the other sweet gear that Omars Electronics offers for power users, like their Omars 10-Port Hub (use coupon code OMARS10P for 15% off) and the Omars Beast – a crazy huge capacity 26,800 mAh 90 watt AC power bank (use coupon code NOVOOTPB for 10% off).

Last but not least, you can enter to win your very own Novoo AC Power Bank:

xDroid Takes The Fun Of Video Racing Games Into The Real World

xDroid

Want something that brings the thrill of racing video games into the real world? It’s here and it is called xDroid. At last the best features of RC cars and racing video games come together. You can race, drift, jump, play with friends and even code your own games. And you get to control everything from your smartphone.

xDroid brings the best parts of video game racing to the real world. You can play demolition derby, capture the flag and much more. It uses three main elements to work its magic: The mobile gaming app, the xDroid car and the xPoint.

xDroid

The xDroid is a 1:16 scale hobby-grade smartphone-controlled car, but if you already own an RC car, you can use your own by upgrading it with an xCore. The xPoints are basically small interactive checkpoints that you can position along the route. These will let you collect bonuses, earn scores, and get power-ups. The app has the games, acts as a controller and also a social platform.

I don’t know about you, but I have often dreamed of a Mario Kart type game that I could play in the real world with RC cars. xDroid makes it possible to play this and other video game type racing games.

I can see people really getting into this to the point where it becomes a real sport. The system seems like it has everything you need to play and create good games right out of the gate. You can check out the Kickstarter for more info. This is going to be fun.

Get Ready To Make Some Waves With The Mako Slingshot Jetboard

Published

Mako Slingshot Jetboard

Surfboards are great for some fun in the sun and riding the waves, but that’s just not extreme enough for some of us. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, you want something faster and crazier. Something like the Mako Slingshot. This this is essentially a surfboard with some serious jet power, and it looks like a ton of fun.

Naturally, the Slingshot doesn’t use electricity because water and electricity don’t mix unless you are an electric eel. Instead, it uses jet power, with a fuel-efficient Rotron XT100 100cc 2-stroke engine that produces 15 horsepower. That’s good enough to reach a top speed of 34 miles per hour, and keep this speed up for 40 minutes. Not bad. Not bad at all.

The Slingshot’s tank holds 2.8 liters (0.74 gallons) of fuel, and the engine is fastened to easily accessed mounting points. Apparently, you’re supposed to ride this thing like it is an electric skateboard, controlling the throttle using a remote and pushing a button to start the engine. There’s no revving it up. So it’s easy to use.

Mako Slingshot Jetboard

Thanks to carbon fiber construction, the Slingshot weighs just 42 pounds and it has a weight limit of 220 pounds. It measures 74 inches long and 23.5 inches wide, so you can easily toss it in the back of your car and take it with you anywhere.

It looks like a lot of fun. You’ll be running circles around all of those people on surfboards. Try not to rub it in their face too hard that your ride is cooler. Obviously, this kind of fun doesn’t come cheap. The Slingshot starts at $9,800 and goes up from there depending on which extras you buy for it.
